Job Aid - Set Goals

Employees can update or add goals during the year by accessing their individual goals page and selecting an existing goal or adding a new one. They can enter or update goal information and set a due date aligned with the performance year before submitting the goal to their manager for review. Employees can also comment on their goal progress using the activity stream by selecting a goal and adding a comment, which can tag managers to notify them to review the comments.

Set Goals Employees

How To: Update or Add Goals During the Year


▪ Update/Add Goals 1. From Talent and Performance > click My Individual Goals
▪ Comment on Goal
Progress with the
Activity Stream

2. Select the Current Goal in the left column or click Add to add a new goal

Note: To add multiple goals


at a time, click the Add
button after a goal is entered
to add more. Changes and
additions will automatically
save.

3. Update existing Goal or add new Goal information. Always include a Due
Date to align with the performance year.

4. Click Submit for manager review

Note: Click Save for Later to add


or edit existing goals without
notifying your manager.
Once all desired goals are
entered, click Submit to send to
your manager for review.

How To: Comment on Goal Progress with the Activity Stream


▪ Update/Add Goals 1. From Talent and Performance > click My Individual Goals
▪ Comment on Goal
Progress with the
Activity Stream

2. Click the Activity icon for the goal you would like to add a
comment

3. Add your comment in the text box. To tag someone in your management
chain, enter @ to initiate the drop down where you then search for the name

4. Click Post Note: If you tagged


a manager; they will
receive a notification
directing them to
review your
comments
