We have pleasure in confirming your appointment at The Company as a Recruitment Specialist. This
appointment is for a period of six months from the date of employment, i.e. from 00 Month 0000 to until
Client does not need a driver any more.
The contract will not extend past this period. Should management wish to extend the contract, such
extension will be put in writing and you will be notified two weeks prior to the contract expiring –
otherwise the contract shall automatically terminate at the end of the three-month period indicated above.
1 REMUNERATION
1.1.2 Paid monthly on the 25th or the closest working to the 25th.
1.1.3 Payroll cuts off on 15th of each moth and hours worked between the 15th of
each month will be paid to the employee on the 25 th of the month after the
15th.

1.2.1 No commission applies
1.3 All necessary legal deductions such as PAYE and UIF will be made from your remuneration.
2 PERIOD OF EMLOYMENT
2.1 agrees to engage your services and you hereby agree to accept service with on the following
terms and conditions.
2.3 The termination of this contract cannot be construed as a retrenchment, termination and/or
termination for operational requirements, but shall be because of the completion of the contract
period.
2.4 No notice pay in terms of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act or any other legislation will be
applicable.
2.5 On completion of this contract period, this contract will automatically terminate. Any extension
beyond the termination date of this contract will be placed in writing, in the form of a new contract
of employment.
2.6 Your employment with our company through this short-term contract cannot be construed as
giving you any expectation of permanent employment with our company or further renewal.
3.1.2 Notwithstanding the above, working hours are subject to change at management's
discretion.
3.1.3 Due to the nature of the business activities of , the employee is hereby notified and
agrees that working overtime is an express condition of the contract of employment with .
Further, the employee agrees to work overtime as and when required by the employer.

4 WORK TO BE DONE
4.1 Although you have been employed as a Position you may be required to perform other duties that
may reasonably be expected of you within from time to time.
4.2 As part of the duties, employees may be required to perform other duties
4.3 The employee agrees that, notwithstanding the position for which the employee was originally
employed/currently occupies, to assume any post during the absence on leave of the person
ordinarily filling such position.
4.4 The employee further agrees that no additional remuneration shall be due to the employee for
such work.

5 ANNUAL LEAVE
5.1 You are entitled to 1.25 working days annual leave per every month worked or for every 21.67
days worked.
6 SICK LEAVE
6.1 Under the following circumstances, the employee must produce a valid medical certificate:
6.2 Where two or more consecutive day’s sick leave are taken.
6.3 Where two or more days sick leave (not necessarily consecutive) are taken within an eight-week
period.
6.4 Where sick leave is taken on a Friday, Monday or on a day preceding or following a long weekend
or public holiday.
6.5 Paid sick leave amounts to 30 days in a three-year cycle. However, in the first six months of
employment, paid sick leave amounts to one day for every 26 days worked.
6.6 If no medical certificate is provided, the employer is not obliged to pay the employee for any
absence related to illness and disciplinary action may be taken against the employee.

6.7 You will be subject to the disciplinary procedure and rules of as determined from time to time.
6.8 Any problem or feeling of dissatisfaction can be raised through 's grievance procedure.
7 COMPANY EQUIPMENT
7.1 has equipment, which the employee may from time to time use on company business. The
employee is required to follow the proper procedures in booking out and returning such
equipment.
7.2 Company equipment is to be used only on company business. While any company equipment
is in the care of the employee, the employee is responsible for it and is required to take all
reasonable steps to safeguard such.
7.3 Any act or omission which does/might lead to the loss of or damage to company equipment will
constitute grounds for disciplinary action.
7.4 will insure equipment, but if any damage or loss is incurred to such equipment while it is in the
care of the employee, he/she will be responsible for such, and may, at management's
discretion, be liable for any excess incurred by in claiming for such loss or damage, if 's
insurance is prepared to cover this loss, the employee will only be liable for the excess.
8 TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT
8.1 Notwithstanding the termination date as mentioned above, the parties agree that the employer
may terminate the fix-term contract prior to the date of termination due to:

Incapacity
8.2 Should therefore notice become applicable then either you or may terminate this contract prior
to its expiry in the following manner:
8.2.1 One week's notice of termination of employment should the contract be less than 6
months. Thereafter termination is 2 weeks. If the contract is longer than 12 months,
termination is 1 calendar month.

8.2.2 Termination in any cause recognised by law as sufficient shall waive the notice
periods detailed above.
8.3 The employee hereby consents and authorises to deduct from any funds due to him/her any
amount of monies owing to in respect of advances against his/her salary, loans, purchases,
etc. from or otherwise.
9.1 You hereby give your irrevocable consent to a duly authorised representative of to monitor,
intercept, read or access e-mails sent or received by yourself as well as the Internet use.
