Tell me about your self


Hi my self Dhanunjaya. Basically, I am from Andhra Pradesh. Have done my MBA. I have
been working as an US IT Recruiter since 2017. I had around 3 years of experience in
recruitment.

2. Roles & Responsibilities


First Manager or Team Lead will share the requirement. Once they have shared positions
first we need to understand the requirement.
We should now what exactly client is expecting skills from the consultant
If that is C2C position, I will share the requirement to the active vendors which I had and
also post the requirement in social networking sites such as LinkedIn.
If the requirement on W2 also we will post that position in LinkedIn.
I will prepare the Boolean Strings as per the Client requirements. I will put them in Job
portals such as Dice, Monster and CareerBuilder etc.
We will search the profiles Skills wise, Visa wise, Location wise and Experience wise.
First preference I will look for the local candidates
After mention the strings in portals we will get the suitable profiles in that.
As per the requirement I will screen the candidates.
Once I feel the candidate is suitable for that position, I will submit to the Manager.
I will follow up the candidate till we get the interview schedule and placements.
After the project confirmation, payroll department will take care the next things.
3. How many Time Zones in USA
There are 4 Time Zones in USA
From April to Sep
 EST (Eastern Standard Time) : 09AM (USA) - 6.30 PM(IST)
 CST (Central Standard Time) : 09AM (USA) - 7.30 PM(IST)
 MST(Mountain Standard Time) : 09AM (USA) - 8.30 PM(IST)
 PST(Pacific Standard Time) : 09AM (USA) - 9.30 PM(IST)
One Hour difference for each time.
Every Six months the whole US timings change for 1hour (Day Light Savings)
From Oct to Mar they will forward or revert one hour
 EST (Eastern Standard Time) : 09AM (USA) - 7.30 PM(IST)
 CST (Central Standard Time) : 09AM (USA) - 8.30 PM(IST)
 MST(Mountain Standard Time) : 09AM (USA) - 9.30 PM(IST)
 PST(Pacific Standard Time) : 09AM (USA) - 10.30 PM(IST)
Next time reverse is 8th March 2020
4. Explain about Visa status and Tax terms
2 types of Visas
 Immigrant Visa: As an Immigrant Visa we can leave and work in USA on a permanent
basis.
 Non Immigrant Visa: All Non Immigrant Visa has a specific validity or specific time
frame.
Type of Visas in USA

 US Citizens
 Green Card Holder(Permanent Resident)
 H1B – H4(Dependent VISA)
 B1 – B2(Business Level)
 L1 – L2
 TN1(Mexican), TN2 (Canadian) – TN4
 F1(CPT, OPT)

OPT: - Occupational Practical Training (8hrs)


CPT: - Curricular Practical Training (4hrs)
Types of Tax Terms in USA:
 W2
 1099
 C2C(Corp to Corp)

5. Difference between W2, C2C and 1099

W2:
 Under W2 Employer Going to take care All Taxes
 US Citizen, Green Card, GC – EAD, H4 – EAD, OPT - EAD Will work under W2

1099:
 Under 1099 Employee going to take care all taxes
 US Citizen, Green Card Will work under 1099
C2C (Corp to Corp):
 Under C2C H1B Employer going to take care all taxes
 Along with H1B remaining Visas will come under C2C.

6. Do you have any experience with ATS ( Application Tracking System)

Yes I have an experience in ATS like Bullhorn, C-PAL and Job Diva.

7. Do you have experience with VMS (Vendor Management System)

I have basic knowledge on VMS. Manager will operate the VMS.

8. What Job Portals in US, Which one you used.

C2C :- 50 to 60 dollars (min 7 years)

 To find out the fake candidates is a main challenges and some critical requirements

14.What kind of clients you worked (Implementation or Direct)?

Yes, I worked for both Implementation partners and Direct Clients.


Ex:- CGI, Infosys, Emphasis etc. are Implementation partners

Capitol One, Fannie Mae, Fidelity Investments, DXC Technologies (HP) etc. are Direct
Clients

15.Do you have experience on social networking sites?

I have experience on social networking sites such as LinkedIn.

17.Difference between Citizens and Green Card Holders?


 CITIZENS can work for FEDERAL CLIENTS, but Green Card holders cant work for
federal clients.
Green card holders they won’t get clearances.
Only citizens have get the clearances.

 DOD security clearances
 Polygraph
 Active polygraph
 CI polygraph

18.What is service based and product based?

Service based is called Implementation partners


Ex:- CGI, Veritude LLC, Infosys, Cap Gemini, Honeywell

Direct client is a product based


Ex:- Capitol one, Fannie Mae, Fidelity Investments
