BCPC Assessment

The Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) in the barangay received an overall score of 70% based on indicators in four areas: Organization (5%), Meetings (5%), Policies, Plans and Budget (20%), and Accomplishments (50%). The BCPC met several of the criteria including having a composition in accordance with guidelines, conducting regular quarterly meetings, developing policies approved by the local government, and implementing programs and activities outlined in its annual work and financial plan. However, it did not receive full points on some criteria such as expanding its membership and having additional policies beyond minimum requirements.
