Smart Ultrasonic Humidifier

The Nedis [Dropspot1] is a humidifier that can be used to humidify surrounding air by generating a
water mist.

This product can also be used with aromatic oils to distribute a pleasant aroma.

Make sure that the battery polarity (+/-) matches the polarity markings inside the battery
compartment.

Remove the battery from the remote control when the product is not used for a long period of time.

Be careful when using the product.

Hot steam may escape.

Do not add aroma oil into the water reservoir.

Only add aroma oil to the sponge in the aroma reservoir.

Clean the water reservoir every three days to prevent mould growth.

Mould growth may cause poisonous air diffusion.

Empty and clean the product before storage.

Do not lift the product by the handle.

Only use the handle for lifting the water reservoir.

Clean the water reservoir every three days.

Filter cleaning/changing.

The display [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] lights up shortly.

The Wi-Fi symbol blinks to indicate pairing mode is active.

If the Wi-Fi symbol does not blink fast, press and hold the power button [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] for
10 seconds to activate paring mode.

The Wi-Fi symbol starts blinking fast.

Before first use (image [Dropspot1])

Place the product on a stable, flat surface and moisture resistant surface.

Rotate the water reservoir lock [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] counterclockwise to unlock.

Lift the water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] with the handle [Dropspot3][Dropspot4] to remove
the water reservoir [Dropspot5][Dropspot6] from the product.

Place the water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] upside down.

Unscrew the water reservoir lid [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].


Screw the water reservoir lid [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] back onto the water reservoir [Dropspot3]
[Dropspot4].

Place the water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] back onto the product.

Lock the water reservoir lock [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

Press the ON/OFF button [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] to switch on the product.

The product is set to AUTO mode by default.

In AUTO mode, the product automatically determines the optimal humidity for the room based on
the temperature of the air.

The display [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] shows the current room temperature and humidity.

Press a desired function button to set up the product to your preference.

After 15 seconds, the display [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] dims and the product enters standby mode.

Press any button to exit standby mode.

PLASMA

Reduces dust and odours from the air through creating positive and negative ions.

HEATING

Generates warm mist for a higher mist output per hour.

The warm mist may take 10 – 15 minutes to warm up.

LIGHT

Switches on/off the water reservoir LED [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

TIMER

Automatically switches off the product after a certain amount of time.

Press the TIMER button.

Set the desired timer time (1-12 hours) by pressing the TIMER button.

The display [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] shows TIMER to indicate the timer function is set.
NIGHT mode

Switches off the water reservoir LED [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] and display [Dropspot3][Dropspot4].

Press and hold the LIGHT button to enter night mode.

Press any button to exit night mode.

CONSTANT HUMIDITY mode

Maintains the set humidity level in the room by measuring the room humidity.

CONSTANT HUMIDITY mode only works in AUTO mode.

Press the HUMIDITY button.

Set the desired humidity setting and mist level with the HUMIDITY button and control slider
[Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

Press and hold the HUMIDITY button to exit the function and enter the AUTO mode.

%RH is flashing to indicate the CONSTANT HUMIDITY mode is activated.

AUTO mode

Automatically determines the optimal humidity for the room.

MANUAL mode

Constantly humidifies the room at the set humidity.

Press the left [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] or right [Dropspot3][Dropspot4] arrow button for 3 seconds to
activate MANUAL mode.

The display [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] shows MIST LEVEL to indicate the MANUAL mode is set.

Set the desired mist level with the control slider [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

Using the product with aroma (image [Dropspot1])

Do not use essential oils with the product.

Essential oils can damage the product.

Always use aroma oils when using the product with aroma.

Use of essential oils will void the warranty.

Press to unlock the aroma reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

Remove the aroma reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] from the product.

Add a few drops of water-soluble aroma oil into the sponge in the aroma reservoir [Dropspot1]
[Dropspot2].
Place the aroma reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] back into the product.

The aroma automatically diffuses when the product is running.

Clean the aroma reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] and sponge to stop using the product with
aroma.

Automatic shutdown

When the water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] is empty, the product emits three beeps.

The no water icon [Dropspot3][Dropspot4] lights up on the display [Dropspot5][Dropspot6].

The product automatically stops operating.

If the automatic shutdown is activated:

Unplug the power cable [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] to reset the product.

The power cable [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] is not connected to a power outlet.

The water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] is overfilled.

Draw some water from the water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

Only air comes out from the mist outlet [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

The water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] is empty.

The water reservoir lock [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] is loose.

Tighten the water reservoir lock [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

First time using the product.

Remove the water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] from the product.

Leave the water reservoir open for 12 hours.

The water in the water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] has been sitting too long.

Clean the water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

Little mist comes from the mist outlet [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

The water in the water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] has been sitting too long.

The water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] is contaminated with limescale.

Clean the mist diffuser [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] with water.

The water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] is empty.

The product is placed on an unstable surface.


Mist comes out from around the mist outlet [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

There are gaps between the mist outlet [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] and the water reservoir
[Dropspot3][Dropspot4].

Remove the mist outlet [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] from the water reservoir [Dropspot3][Dropspot4].

Place the mist outlet [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] in water for 5 minutes.

Place the mist outlet [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] back onto the water reservoir [Dropspot3]
[Dropspot4].

Essential oils are accidently used with the product.

Empty the water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

Rinse the water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] with water.

Clean all other parts that came in contact with the oil.

Remove the old battery.

Insert the battery in the battery compartment [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

Clean the product every week.

Empty and clean the product before storage.

Push and remove the aroma reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] from the product.

Clean the aroma reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] with water.

Unlock the water reservoir lock [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

If limescale occurs, clean the water reservoir [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] and mist diffuser [Dropspot3]
[Dropspot4] with water and citric acid.

Brush off the limescale with the brush [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

Unscrew the water reservoir lid [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] to remove the ceramic filter [Dropspot3]
[Dropspot4].

Submerge the ceramic filter [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] in vinegar for 5 minutes.

Rinse the ceramic filter [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] with water.

Let the ceramic filter [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] dry for 4 – 6 hours.

It is recommended to disconnect the charger when the battery is fully charged.

Connecting the gamepad to your PC or laptop

Plug the wireless USB dongle [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] into a USB port of your computer.

Press and hold the HOME button [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] until the LED indicators [Dropspot3]
[Dropspot4] start blinking.

The operating system automatically detects the gamepad.

The vibration function only works when the product is in X-input mode.

The LED indicators [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] light up when the product is ready for use.

To switch between X-input and D-input mode press the HOME button [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] for 8
seconds.

Wi-Fi Build-in Switch Module

The Nedis [Dropspot1] is a smart switch that can be controlled remotely through the Nedis Smartlife
app.

The product allows you to remotely, wirelessly switch any connected device on or off.

The product is intended to be installed behind a wall switch.

Optionally, a mechanical switch can be connected to the product.

Ensure that the power group that you want to connect the product to is switched off.

Insert the mains phase wire of the device you want to control into the wire terminal [Dropspot1]
[Dropspot2].

Insert the neutral wire of the device you want to control into the wire terminal [Dropspot1]
[Dropspot2].

Optional: insert the wires of a mechanical switch into the wire terminals [Dropspot1][Dropspot2]
and [Dropspot3][Dropspot4].

Insert the neutral wire into the wire terminal [Dropspot1][Dropspot2].

Download, register/login and open the Nedis SmartLife app on your phone.

Switch the power group back on, the indicator LED [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] starts blinking.

If the indicator LED [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] is not blinking

Switch off the power group again.

Check if all wires are connected well.

Switch the power group back on.

If the indicator LED [Dropspot1][Dropspot2] is blinking continue with step [Dropspot3].

Switch the mechanical switch on and off 6 times to reset the product.
If you have no mechanical switch connected to the product, bridge the wire terminal [Dropspot1]
[Dropspot2] to the wire terminal [Dropspot3][Dropspot4] with a wire 6 times to reset the product.

Confirm the name.

You can now control the product with your smartphone or with the mechanical switch.
