 Ang video games ay maaring bigyang-depinisyon batay sa iba't ibang platform

 Naging popular Ang multimedia interactive entertainment software o video


games noong 1970 sa Amerika at Canada

 Sa parehong tao din ay nakilala Naman sa bansang Japan Ang mga larong Pong
(Atari, 1972), Space Invaders (Taito, 1978) at Pac-Man (Namco, 1979).
 Nilikha ni Toru Iwatani ang Pac-Man na inilabas ng Namco noong 1980.(Sample

 Batay ito sa orihinal na Japanese transliteration na "Puck Man"


 Pinalitan din ang mga orihinal na karakter na sina "Reddie", "Pinky", "Bluey" and
"Slowly" na naging salin sa ingles bilang "Blinky", "Pinky", "Inky", and "Clyde".

 Isa siya sa pinakamahalagang karakter sa franchise ng Nintendo, na nagdadala


ng malaking bilang ng mga paghahatid sa iba't ibang mga console hanggang
ngayon.
 Ang sikat na karakter na ito na tinatawag na "Mario" ay nakikibagay sa mga
bagong panahon, nakikita kung paano inilunsad ang ilang paghahatid sa mga
mobile device.

 Si Aerith Gainsborough Mula sa Final Fantasy VII (1997) ay naisalin bilang Aeris
Gainsborough sa wikang Ingles.

Pagsasalin at Video Game Localization

Things have changed dramatically, and nowadays video games are a multi-billion
dollar industry catering for home entertainment markets, as well as arcades, portable
devices and online players. It is no longer an option to offer English- or Japanese-
only ges, because growing competition amongst the big player in the industry
(Playstation, Nintendo, Microsoft, Activision, Electronic Arts...) means that the market
share is increasing for the providers who are more in touch with consumers around
the world and their needs." (Bernal-Merino,2015)

localization bilang "the actual process of translating the language assets in a
game into other languages." (2012)
 Samantala ganito naman ang depinisyon ni Hagan sa terminong game
localization, "game localization is defined as transforming a particular game
software into a new form, which is suitable for the target audience in a specific
country with specific cultural values and needs, including customs and traditions,
language, hardware requirements, technical infrastructure, industry and market,
and legal system" (sipi Kay Pyae, 2018)

 Ang Mobile Legens: Bang Bang ay isang 5v5 Multiplayer Online Battle Arena
(MOBA) na nilikha ng game developen na Moonton mula sa bansang China
noong 2016.

 Naging popular ang larong ito sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo lalong higit sa mga
bansa sa Southeast Asia gaya ng Indonesia, Pilipinas at Malaysia.

 Noong 2018, naging kampeon ang Aether Main ng bansang Pilipinas sa Mobile
Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MLBB Sea Cup) na ginanap sa
Jakarta Indonesia.
