FORMULATING THE SECTORAL/FUNCTIONAL COMMITTEE OF THE


BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL OF BARANGAY BANGAOILAN EAST,
BANGAR, LA UNION

WHEREAS, Section 106 at Republic Act No. 716 otherwise known as the Local
Government Code of 1991 as supported by DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2001-89 enacted
July 2002, provides for the organization of the Local Dwvelopment Councils;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Development Council is the planning body of the Barangay
Government that assists the Barangay Councilin setting the direction for economic and social
development and coordinatingdevelopment efforts within the territorial jurisdiction;

WHEREAS, Section 5 of Executive Order No. 27 series of 2018 states the formation of
Sectoral or Functional Committees for the BDC.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CEFERINO P. LEONEN, Punong Barangay of Bangaoilan


East, Bangar, La Union, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby formulate the
sectoral or functional committees of the Barangay Development Council as follows:

1. Composition of Committees:

A. Social and Economic Development Committee


Chairperson: Kgwd. RENATO D. COSTALES
Members : Kgwd. WILSON M. CORPUZ
Kgwd. NANCY M. FONTANILLA

B. Physical and Infrastructural Committee


Chairperson: Kgwd. WILSON M. CORPUZ
