I am a self- motivated, hardworking polite individual who takes work and tasks on with a positive attitude.
This is because I understand that work and tasks will enable me to become successful in my chosen career
and I am very passionate about the work I do and always strive for success. I like to work individually and
am very independent however I love working in a team and think teamwork is very important. I have
developed the skills I need to do this due to many years in dance working in teams. When working in a
team I like to motivate other individuals so they can see a positive outlook to their work/ task. People
often recognise me for being ambitious, creative and having a great friendly personality especially when it
comes to my input in things. I am always willing to learn new things and like to do difficult tasks to
challenge me. Also, I follow instructions well that someone has given me. When giving a task or work to
do I always complete them on time before any deadlines. I always complete them to the best of my
abilities; I can work under pressure well and thrive to a fast-paced environment. I have excellent skills in
Mathematics, English, Science and Health and Social care. My strongest area is Health and Social Care,
Maths and English

Employment/ Work Experience


I’m currently looking for a part time work position that can coincide with my studies at Carmel College. I have
undertaken my first voluntary work placement at a local care home where I cared for the residents and helped
with tasks.
November-January 2019 Store Assistant- Temporary Christmas Position Primark
Key Responsibilities
 Providing excellent customer service at all times in a busy and fast-paced environment
 Greeting customers with a friendly and helpful attitude
 Answered any customer questions regarding stock, sales and suggestions
 Dealing with and putting out stock and deliveries
 Keeping the store clean and presentable always
 Till operation, serving customers and cash handling
 Using initiative in a busy environment and problem solving
Hobbies and Interests
In my spare time I like to dance and have been at a dance school since the age of 2. I also really love reading and
always read in my spare time. To stay healthy, I love going to the gym or running to keep in shape.
About me: Skills Profile
I am confidently able to work as part of a team as I have had lots of practice doing this in many situations such as
in school, in dance working together and in my position as a sale assistant. I am confident in giving my opinion
and expressing my ideas in a team and listening to others, also I work very well independently with any given
task. I am very confident in problem solving and finding a solution and using my own initiative and creativity to
resolve the issue. I have excellent IT skills and understand the latest technology.
Voluntary Experience
During the summer I took part in NCS which I built numerous skills and experiences. It really developed my team
working skills as we all had to work together to figure out how to get back to camp. I was set the task of
navigating our team which helped me build confidence in making decisions and helped my skill of using my own
initiative. It really helped and improved my communication and social skills as I met lots of new people and
became more outgoing and confident. It really improved me overall and improved the ability to communicate to
the public and those around me. I have also voluntary been helping at a local care home which really helped me
develop communication skills.
