Install Stabilizers and Front Mounting
Bracket
1. Remove pivot pins and retainers stored in stabilizers.
NOTE: Lubricate all pivot pins before installation.

2. Install both stabilizers (A) to the backhoe with pivot


pins (B).
3. Install cotter pins (C) in pivot pins.
4. Install rod end of cylinder to stabilizer and insert pivot

(A), four M16x55 cap screws (B), 24 washers, and
12 nuts.
7. Pull up on front mount frame and tighten cap screws
to specification.

Install Bucket
NOTE: Lubricate all pivot pins before installation.

1. Align holes in bucket ears (A) with holes in dipperstick


(B).
2. Insert spacer (C), if necessary, between dipperstick
and bucket to minimize side-to-side clearance. Install
pivot pin (D). Secure with cap screw (E) and nut (F).
3. Tighten nut until cap screw threads are extending past
nut.
NOTE: Cap screw must not be tight.

4. Align holes in bucket (I) with holes in link (G).

6. Install pivot pin (J). Secure with cap screw (K) and nut

9. Back tractor up into backhoe until crossbar assembly

10. Raise rockshaft lever to highest position so holes in


mount frame (E) and backhoe bracket (F) align.
11. Stop tractor engine and engage park brake.
12. Install mount pins (G) through backhoe and mount
frame on each side of the backhoe.

15. Disconnect tractor power beyond hydraulic coupler


and cap the end.

coupler (J) on tractor.
17. Connect backhoe hydraulic return line coupler (K) to
power beyond tank connector on tractor.
18. Ensure that the tractor park brake is engaged. Start
tractor engine and run at low idle.

19. Remove the boom lock pin (L), retainer clip, and swing
lock pin (M) from the boom assembly.
20. Place lock pins and retainer clip in appropriate storage
location.

4. Place boom in park position and install lock pin (B)
and retainer clip.
NOTE: Dipperstick (C) should be fully retracted.

5. Rotate bucket until teeth (D) are parallel to the ground.

8. Disconnect backhoe connector (E) from power beyond


coupler on tractor.

9. Disconnect backhoe hydraulic return line coupler (F)
from power beyond connector on tractor.
10. Install dust cap and plug on coupler (F) and connector
(E) to prevent contamination.
11. Route lines on backhoe side of seat support and place
on foot platform to prevent from contacting the ground.
12. Connect tractor power beyond hydraulic connector (G)
to power beyond coupler (H).
