Position: Senior Civil Engineer

We are looking for results-oriented Civil Engineers with a passion for business development and

Responsibilities:

 Experience in Urban Planning and Water related projects.


 Participate in bid meetings, negotiations, and presentations to potential clients.
 Creating project designs, including structural plans, site layouts, and technical
specifications. 
 Manage and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
and industry standards.
 Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including
architects, contractors, government agencies, and clients. 
 Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. 
  Assess material and labor costs, analyze project requirements, and develop
accurate cost projections to facilitate project planning and financial management.
 Conduct tests, inspections, and assessments to ensure that materials and
workmanship meet industry standards and project specifications.
 Be able to prepare EOI’s, Technical proposals in response to RFP’s for national
organizations and World Bank, ADB, other IFI’s

Requirements:

 Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.


 Being associated with an Engineering Consultancy.
 A minimum of seven years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on
business development.
 Proficient in using civil engineering software and tools.
 Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

2. Position: Senior Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy)

Responsibilities:

 Lead and oversee the development and implementation of renewable energy


projects, with a specific focus on solar power. 
 Evaluate and analyze the grid integration of renewable energy projects, including
solar power plants. 
 Assess transmission system requirements, perform power flow studies, voltage
stability analysis, and system protection assessments. 
 Assist clients in identifying business opportunities, market analysis, project
financing, and regulatory compliance. 
 Contribute to proposal development, prepare technical and commercial offers for
clients, and support business development activities. 
 Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations for clients,
stakeholders, and management.
 Maintain accurate records of project activities, data analysis, and design
documentation.

Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.


 Minimum of 7 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on:
o Solar power and transmission.
o Off-grid Component Based Solar Home Systems of 150 W to 5 Kw
o Solarization of Existing Diesel and Electricity driven Water Pumping Systems
o Off-grid productive-use items.
o Knowledge of Market/Suppliers related to Solar products
o Training experience related to Solar Home Systems and Solar Water Pumps
 Proven experience in business consultancy and project development.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement and
team collaboration.
 Proficient in relevant software and tools used in electrical engineering and renewable
energy analysis.

Online Salary Survey Results: 

According to PEC's Engineering HR Survey (EHRS) 2020, Online Job portals and business
forums, the salary range for civil and electrical engineers is following:

 Junior Engineer (Fresh Graduate): up to PKR 60,000 per month.


 Engineer (2-5 years of experience): up to PKR 100,000 per month.
 Senior Engineer (5-10 years of experience): up to 150,000 per month.

Note: Actual salaries may vary depending on industry, location, company size, additional
qualifications, and individual negotiation skills.
