Overall Scope of the role:


A project manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects within an organisation, from the
initial ideation through to completion. They coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on
time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.
The Project head should be able to manage a dynamic & changing environment—things rarely go as
planned—and when faced with changes it is important the Project Head remains focused on the
principles that guide your work. These three principles can be summed up with the 3 C of project
management: Culture, Clarity, and Course Correction. Culture builds a strong foundation within the
project team, Clarity builds on that culture to establish a shared vision for the project, and Course
Correction ensures that the project continuously moves toward the defined vision.

Functional Responsibilities
1 Responsible for the planning, execution, quality and delivery of projects on time.
2 Cross functional coordination to expedite the project deliverables.
Adapting a CE (Concurrent Engineering) approach which involves a collaborative, team-based
approach for designing products that combines multiple departments and disciplines into a

project team. Collaborating with sales, production, designing & commercial teams for effective
and profitable closure of contracts.
4 Finalising the contractor, machinery & internal team for execution of projects.
5 Erection, sheeting & anchor bolting/welding finalisation with Site Engineers.
6 Strictly ensuring and implementing quality & safety regulations & parameters.

Effective handling of real time problems at the project site to minimise damage wrt to material,

time, manpower & other resources.
8 Assessing & communicating project risks before making a final bid to the customer.
9 Supervising & monitoring project schedules & erection cost estimation.
Conducting periodic on-site inspections to ensure adherence to quality, safety & completion

schedule.
11 Ensuring adherence to policies, procedures & legal licences & compliances.
Follow-up with site team for pre execution meeting, drawing vs BOQ (bill of quantities) check list,

MPR (monthly project reports) reports and DPR (detailed project reports).
Devising strategies to overcome roadblocks or delays through technical knowledge, innovating
13 short cuts or alternative ways, improvising with available resources, scheduling overtime to meet
the deadline etc.

Preparing the Project Schedule & end-to-end planning of manpower, machinery, money &

Trouble shooting problems as and when they occur on site and reported by the site supervisor

and Generate MRS and CCF.
5 Strictly ensuring and implementing quality & safety regulations & parameters.
6 Follow-up with customers for timely payment & maintaining cash flow at all times.
