PENITENTIAL ACT
Ps Brothers and sisters, let us acknowledge our sins, and so
prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
All I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and
sisters, that I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in
my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to
do, through my fault, through my fault, through my most
grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all
the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to
pray for me to the Lord our God.

our pleas, and, since without you mortal frailty can do
nothing, grant us always the help of your grace, that in
following your commands we may please you by our
resolve and our deeds. Through our Lord Jesus Christ,
your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the
Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.
All Amen
5
Look to him that you may be radiant with joy, and your
faces may not blush with shame. When the poor one called
out, the LORD heard, and from all his distress he saved
him.
“The lamp of the body is the eye. If your eye is sound, your
whole body will be filled with light; but if your eye is bad,
6
your whole body will be in darkness. And if the light in
you is darkness, how great will the darkness be.”
