Name of work:- FDR-2022-Permanent Repairs to Dharayakhan Talab, Gottumukkula (V),

Makloor (M), Nizamabad(Dist.)

Date of Inspection:-

The following officers were present:

1). Sri M.Ravi Kumar, Dy.Executive Engineer, Irrigation Sub-Division No.1, Nandipet.
2). Smt D.Divya Bharathi, Asst.Executive Engineer, Irrigation Sub-Division No.1, Nandipet.

The above work was inspected along with the above officers and the following are the
observations made and given the instructions for taking up the restoration works.

1. Weir: As per site conditions, the right side abutment of weir is completely damaged and the
length of abutment is more than the length provided in estimate and the pipe culvert abutment
lengths on U/s and D/s lengths are also more than the length provided in estimate. Hence it is
instructed to construct the right side abutment of weir and the pipe culvert abutment lengths on
U/s and D/s as per site conditions.

In view of the above the Deputy Executive Engineer, Irri.Sub-Division No.1, Nandipet is
instructed to submit work slip with the above provisions as per the MI guide lines.

REPORT TO ACCOMPAYINING THE WORKS SLIP FOR THE WORK OF FDR-

 2022 - PERMANENT REPAIRS TO DHARAYAKHAN TALAB, GOTTUMUKKULA (V),
MAKLOOR(M),NIZAMABAD(D).
Amount of Estimate: Rs. 16.20 Lakhs
Amount of Work Slip: Rs. 15.70 Lakhs

The Administrative approval for the above work was accorded by Proc No:ENC(O&M)/11th
O&M committee/Minutes/2022-23/4090, Dt:16-02-2023 for Rs.16.20 Lakhs . The Technical
Sanction was accorded by the Superintending Engineer, Irrigation Circle, Armoor in CR No.
22/SE/IC/Armoor/2022-23 Dt:03-03-2023 for Rs 16.20 lakhs (-4.20% LESS on ECV) priced
with SSR 2022-23.

The provisions covered in the technical sanction were Repairs to weir and Construction of
pipe culvert.

The Tenders were called for on e-procurement platform and the work was awarded to Sri.
Nakka Mohan, H-No:-2-56/3, Mothe(V), Velpur(M), Nizamabad(D), vide Superintending
Engineer, Irrigation Circle, Armoor, LS. AB. No. 12/2023-24, Dt.:19-04-2023, for contract value
of Rs. 12,59,458=65/- @ -4.20 % less over ECV.

During the progress of work the site was inspected by the Executive Engineer, Irrigation
Division No.3, Armoor and instructed some modifications and the work carried out accordingly.
The Head wise details are as follows.

I.Repairs to Weir: In the sanctioned estimates a provision is made for Rs 1,60,272=00 the
amount as per workdone is Rs.1,23,361 =00. resulted in savings of amount in the sub head is
Rs.36,911=00. Provision is made in the sanctioned estimate tentatively apron bed, d/s cutoff wall
to apron 1& 2, wearing coat to apron 1&2 , but during execution of work as per site condition the
apron lengths of 1 & 2 are less than length provided in estimate which resulted in savings of
amount in weir subhead.

II.Repairs to Pipe culvert: In the sanctioned estimates a provision is made for Rs

11,54,311=00 the amount as per workdone is Rs. 11,78,802=00. resulted in excess amount in the
sub head is Rs.24,491 =00. Provision is made in the sanctioned estimate tentatively the right side
abutment of weir is completely damaged and the length of abutment is more than the length
provided in estimate and the pipe culvert abutment lengths on U/s and D/s lengths are also more
than the length provided in estimate. Hence it is instructed to construct the right side abutment of
weir and the pipe culvert abutment lengths on U/s and D/s as per site conditions.

Considering all the deviations the total amount of works slip works out to Rs. 15.70 Lakhs
against the technical sanctioned amount of Rs.16.20 Lakhs.

An early approval to the works slip is solicited.
