E: Good morning everyone!

E: Welcome to our Career Guidance Program 2023! To formally start our program,
may I request everyone to please rise for a prayer and please do remain standing for
the singing of the Philippine National Anthem to be conducted by Ms. Shirleen Payac.

E: Good morning once again. It’s my pleasure to be the moderator for today’s event. I
am Cryss Jane Gorne Paquibulan, your emcee for this morning.

E: Career guidance program has played a significant role in the career development of
students. By way of providing yearly awareness, information campaign and career
updates. This activity is considered to be an avenue for students to stimulate their
future career. Thus, Saint Joseph Academy of Leyte, Inc.is advocating R.A. 11206
otherwise known as Secondary School Career and Guidance Counseling Act.

E: Courtesy to our School Director Mr. Lorenzo G. Pando, to our OIC Principal Mr.
Samuel P. Paler Jr. Admins, faculty and staff, students, visitors a pleasant morning to
all of you.

E: Welcome! To the 2023 Career Guidance Program with the theme “Trends of
Employment in the New Normal: Gearing towards your future: Follow the Guide, Tag
your Career, Hello Future.

II. WELCOME TALK

E: To welcome us all in this event, may we call on our active and very supportive
School Director, Mr. Lorenzo G. Pando in his welcome message. A Round of
Applause please…..

III. PRESENTATION OF STUDENTS

E: At this juncture is the presentation of students where we witness what career would
they like to take on and why that certain career they choose to become. For the
information of everyone, the faculty will choose who among those students will
become the Mr. & Ms. Career Day 2023. The Grade 10 students will be the one to
come up first here on stage, followed by Grade11 students and afterwards the Grade
12 students. As you come up here on stage, you are going to introduce yourself, what
career you want to become and why did you choose that career. ?

***Ladies and Gentlemen. May I present to you the students as they dress themselves
in their chosen career.
****PRESENTATION OF STUDENTS*****

E: Thank you so much students. Truly, our students are very lucky to experience this
kind of event in their lives. I can still remember during my graduation in Kindergarten
and during our Career Day way back 2014. I am very proud to myself saying when I
grow up, I want to become a teacher and I pursue my dreams in life and now I am
grateful that I am now a teacher in this profession. It allows me to motivate and
inspire students to pursue their wildest dream in life.

IV. INTRODUCTION OF SPEAKERS

E: At this juncture, let us hear our first speaker for this morning.

V. INTRO. TO OUR 1ST SPEAKER

E: Our first speaker is from Brgy. President Garcia, Matalom, Leyte. He is a graduate
of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education major in HELE, year 2007 at SLSU,
Sogod Campus, Sogod So.Leyte and passed the LET on the same year. He has a
beautiful wife Mrs. April Mae Odias and a pretty daughter Gaille Maxxine Odias. He
entered in Philippine National Police in the year 2010. On 2014, he designated at
Bontoc Municipal Police Station, Bontoc So. Leyte as Assisstant Invistigator. In the
year 2016, he served as an Invistigator at Merida Municipal Police Station, Merida,
Leyte.And year 2022, he re-assigned in Matalom,Leyte MPS and designated as
Assistant Administrator. Ladies and Gentlemen he’s none other than the very active
Police Staff Sergeant Garry Rin Odias. A warm of Applause PLEASE…….

young mind of our students.***

VII. MESSAGE OF THE 2ND SPEAKER

E. And now, let us hear another inspirational message from our next speaker. Our
second speaker is from Brgy. Elevado Matalom, Leyte. She graduated at Southern
Leyte State Univesity- Tomas Oppus with the Degree of Bachelor of Secondary
Education Major in Mathematics. And now, she is currently teaching at Hampangan
National High School. She is none other than, the most active and beautiful Ms. Noren
Palen. A WARM OF APPLAUSE PLEASE.

motivates them in reaching their goals in life.***

E: This time, let us give the floor to Ms. Francine Lota and Mr. Modesto Penas a

G10 students as they show off in their interpretative dance. Let’s give them a round of
applause please.

VIII. AWARDING OF MR. AND MS.CAREER DAY

E: And now, heading up to our Mr. and Ms. Career Day 2023. I know that our
teachers have seen a glimpse of their individual personalities. I am now handling the
result containing our Mr. and Ms. Career Day. Who will be? Is it an engineer, a
teacher, a police, architect, doctors, nurses and many more….

**Our Mr. Career Day is……….. and our Ms. Career Day for this year is none other
than Ms…………….May I call on (MS.NIMFA DALAGAN,SCHOOL
DIRECTOR,SIR ODIAS AND MAAM PALEN) to pin the sash.

E: Alright! Thank you so much and Congratulations. Once again our Mr. Career
Day___and Ms.Career Day ___.

IX. GIVING OF CERTIFICATES AND TOKENS

E: Alright ,moving on We couldn’t done this successfully without our speaker who
spend their time attending this event. Honorable guests,Ladies and Gentlemen now,
please welcome our speakers Mr. Garry Rin Odias and Ms. Noren Palen accompanied
by Mr. Lorenzo G. Pando our School Director and Ms. Nimfa O. Dalagan our School
Advocate to the stage to give the certificates and tokens of gratitude. Let me read the
citation first.
