1) The document is a script for a skit about students trying to get their classmates to be quiet so their teacher can read them a story. 2) Various students talk and joke around making noise until others tell them "Shh..." to be quiet so they can listen to the teacher read. 3) One student talks about the importance of reading in their lives and how it is present everywhere in signs, rules, and television before being interrupted by more noise. 4) In the end, one student insists "Shh... shh... shh... WE; we want you to keep quiet!" so they can finally listen to the teacher's story without disruption.

Shh… Shh… Shh… We, we want you to listen.

Once upon a time… Once upon a time… Once upon a time…

Stories are fun!. They fill our imagination. We become Superheroes, we become Monsters, we
become Royalty, (MANALILI)we are transported to an alternate universe where we can be hap-
shhh… but most importantly we become persons with great interests in making our world
beautiful with the art of words.

And so in the classroom, when our teacher begins to open a book, and scans on the pages to a
story…

Shh… We, we want you to listen.

Our dear schoolmates. YES YOU, reading is very important in our lives. It is everywhere. IT IS
EVERYWHERE, It is everything. On the street, a sign reads: pedestrian lane. This is the yellow
painted lane on the street allowed for all to cross the street. Inside our classroom, the rules
read: Be a good listener (mag-iingay lahat tas shhh…) Finish class activities promptly; Use
polite words when talking(Pardon~); Honesty is the best policy (Mag-peace sign tas i-iling sa ulo
then mag L sign)… and many more. And even on the television: Ang susunod na palabas ay
rated SPG. Striktong Patnubay at Gabay ng magulang ay kailangan sa mga batang manonood.
MAHILUM, TEJAM(then 2 boys tatayo magbabangaan tas magsasapakan dapat pero
magkikiss lang pala) shhh… (HALA)PERARIZA

And so(GIRLS, KURT) in the classroom, when our teacher begins to open the book, and scans
inthe pages to a story…

In our age today, when gadgets reign supreme in our lives…(Mag-raisehand isa-isa) Spotify
streaming, Netflix and chill, valorant grinding, Iphones, PC Building, Kpop MV
streaming, Android Phones, and Vaccine research! (PERARIZA, LUCERO, DELA
CALZADA, DUCYOGEN, LLEVARES, ESTIOCO, CORNEL, VELASCO) Shh… we’re talking
about technological advancement, not vaccine research! But yet again, to be able to read the
directions, we must learn to love reading. To be able to follow the directions of the games we
play, we must start reading. Reading??… reading… reading!!… Let us all read. And so in the
classroom, when all of us begin to open our books, and scan on the pages to a story…
