Rule: The verb ‘to be’ is the most used verb in English. It describes what
things are (nouns), how things are (adjectives) and what they are doing
(verbs). We use ‘to be’ with nouns and describe what things are.

The apostrophe with ’s shows ownership or possession. It shows who
someone or something belongs to.
Note: We only use this when we talk about something that someone owns.
For example: This is Ahmed’s car. This is Sarah’s pen.
This is Ahmed and Sarah’s house.
In use:
His car is black. Ahmed’s car is black. Possessive’s

His car = it Ahmed’s car = it SUBJECT
