KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS;

This Memorandum of Agreement was made and entered into by and between:

Barangay Dioquino Zobel with office and mailing address at No. 18 General Lizardo Street
Project 4, Quezon City, represented herein by its Punong Barangay, Judy A. Concepcion;

- and -

The accredited NGO’s AND PO’s of barangay namely; Senior Citizens, Samahan ng
Kababaihan, Solo Parents, LGBT, Black Nazarene, Tau Gamma Phil Dioquino-Zobel chapter,
PWD, Yakap Day Care Center Parents Teachers Association, LINA-Homeowners Association;

Witnessed:

WHEREAS, the Barangay Dioquino Zobel, recognizes the existence of the mentioned NGO’S
and PO’s as accredited by the present Barangay Council this year 2022;

WHEREAS, the mentioned NGO’s and PO’s has complied the required association profiles
such as updated List of officers, members, and financial report for the record purposes of the
barangay;

WHEREAS, in compliance to the required member of the Barangay Development Council to


enjoin 4 or more NGO and PO representatives during the Annual Budget Planning, and the
barangay based institution to include community organizations under Local Government Code
of 1991, Book 1 General Provisions, Chapter 4 otherwise known as Relations with People’s and
Non-Government Organization, Article 63 or the Local Special Bodies.

NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises and by way of
formalizing and confirming their commitment, the parties hereby agree to enter into an
agreement, as follows:

I. OBLIGATION OF THE PARTIES

A. General Obligations:

1. The parties shall collaborate and combine their human, technical, and
material resources to prepare validate, approve, legitimize and implement the
policies on barangay development.
2. The parties hereby agree to coordinate, inform each other any vital
information for/and of the progress of the implementation of any barangay
activity beneficial to the residents.

B. Obligation of the Barangay

1. To provide necessary assistance to the NGO’s and PO’s relative to any


activity available at the barangay;
2. To report any development of the implemented projects during meetings that
NGO’s and PO’s are enjoined;
3. To accredit/recognize NGO’s and PO’s as part of the barangay development
council members duly supported by required documents and issue Certificate
of Accreditation for the purpose of the requesting party.
Accreditation/recognition is on a annual renewal basis.

C. Obligations of the partnering NGO’s and PO’s

1. To comply with the required documents for accreditation and recognition of


the barangay;
2. To extend assistance and cooperation to any barangay activity which needs
peoples participation such as capacity building, development activities
beneficial to the residents and members of the respectively;
3. To properly coordinate any NGO’s and PO’s initiated activities to the
barangay e.g. letter of request or proposal for a project needs participation
between among the parties.

II. EFFECTIVITY

This agreement shall take effect upon signing hereof and shall remain in full force
and effect unless sooner terminated as provided above or by written agreement of all
parties.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have hereunto to set their hands to this
Agreement on the 16th day of August 2022 at Quezon City. During the Barangay
Development Council 2nd Quarter Meeting held at the Barangay Session Hall.
