Title
Express clearly what the manuscript is about and avoid including unnecessary
descriptions. The title should be approximately 10 to 12 words [after adding your
text, delete these guidelines].

Introduction
This section should be approximately 300 words. Please make sure that you:

 summarise the current state of the topic (literature review) and the limitations or
gaps of the current literature in this area
 give a brief overview of the theoretical concepts and previous empirical studies
relevant to your research project
 show how these theories/empirical results are linked to your study
 define the aim of the study and formulate clear and appropriate research
questions and/or research hypothesis supported by your literature review.

Methodology
This section should be approximately 300 words. Please make sure that you:

 describe the research design of your study: e.g., quantitative, qualitative or


mixed
 summarise the background information of your sample (e.g., number of
participants, age range, area, the year of study), as well as how you have
recruited them
 explain how you have collected your data (e.g., questionnaire, interview, etc),
describe the research tools that you have used and how you have analysed your
data (e.g., statistical testing, qualitative/quantitative content analysis, etc.)

 discuss any ethical concerns that might have arisen or how ethical standards for
responsible research have been met.

Results
This section should be approximately 200 words. Please make sure that you:

 summarise the most important results under each research question or research
hypothesis.

Discussion and conclusion

 explain how your research findings feed into the teaching practice and/or the
educational research
 describe the study limitations and provide some recommendations for teachers,
researchers etc.

References should follow the APA style 7th edition.
