 Choose one of the following mini projects. Each of these mini


projects will give you the opportunity to use the vocabulary,
grammar and language functions practised so far.

World festivals

A. Create a “5 Reasons why poster”: Read about the following world


festivals and look for images too. After that, choose two: one you would
rather go to and another one you would rather not go to.

 Create a poster with two hands and give your five reasons why you
would rather go to one of the festivals and not to the other.

B. Spin the wheel! Prepare a spinning wheel and divide it into eight parts.
Prepare an arrow with the word: Why? on it. Write the following props in
each part:

 Where would you rather go…?


 What would you rather do…?
 What do you prefer…?
 How many…?
 How much…?
 When do you prefer to…?
 Why would you rather…?
 Who would you rather…?

 Prepare eight sets of cards for each of these props. Have different
possibilities in each of the cards. (See the example)

Now you are ready to play! Display all the sets of cards upside-down, spin the
wheel, ask and answer the question!
