SEWING THE HAIR PIECES:

I used the ladder stitch or the invisible seam method to sew the
hair pieces together. [See Pic]

Refer to page 10 for pictures.

Step 1: Place the back piece on top of the right hair piece and sew from the
bottom of the hair pieces upwards. The 5sc of the right hair piece remains
unsewn.
Step 2: Now fold this free part of the right hair piece and sew it to the top part
of the back hair piece.
Step 3: Repeat the same with the left hair piece.
Step 4: Now sew the top of the left and the right hair pieces together.

f.o. and weave in the tail.

Now turn your work inside out. The hair is ready!

f.o. and leave a tail for sewing.

ASSEMBLY

1. Place the hair on the head with the hairline starting between Rnd 5-6
and keep it in place with the help of sewing pins. Now sew the hair on
the top of the head along the parting between the left and the right
hair pieces. You can also sew the hair along Rnd 18 of the head to

2. Using black embroidery thread sew a mouth slanting downwards from
the left cheek at Rnd 18 to Rnd 20, then run a horizontal line at Rnd 20
for around 10 stitches and then slanting upwards to Rnd 18 on the right
cheek.

3. Using black embroidery thread sew stitches on the mouth

approximately 2 stitches apart leaving space for lips at the centre of the
mouth.

4. Using coral red embroidery thread sew two lips in a “V” shape at Rnd 18
of head (over the mouth in the space left for the lips).

5. Using black embroidery thread sew stitches vertically on the forehead

starting from Rnd 8 to Rnd 16. Do not sew over the white part of eye.

6. Sew the spots on the dress on the turquoise portion of the body.

7. Using black embroidery thread embroider spirals on the top pink

portion of the body and sew stitches over the lines where two colors
meet on the body.

8. Sew the arms at Rnd 24 of body. Sew the arm with the yellow sleeve
on the right side of the body over the pink part (4 stitches from
where the pink stitches begin) and the arm with the turquoise sleeve
