CAMP MOURNING WOOD, v0.0.3.

1 – Walkthrough
By Vashaldias

Game: Camp Mourning Wood, by Exiscoming

Game version: v0.0.3.1
Walkthrough edition: 1

I don’t know how often (or whether) I’ll be able to update this – it’s probably best not to expect
instant updates when new game versions are released.

Contents
The game is non-linear, so I don’t provide a step-by-step path through it. Instead, there are sections
for basic gameplay, for quests, and for character storylines. There’s also a photo index at the end.

 GENERAL NOTES
 Overview:
o BEGINNING OF THE GAME
o AROUND THE CAMP
o STATS AND STATUSES
o INVASIONS.
 Quests:
o Main: QUEST 1
o Other: QUEST 2, QUEST 3, QUEST 4, QUEST 5, (QUEST 6), QUEST 7, QUEST 8
 Character storylines:
o AMBER
o EMMA
o PENELOPE
o (LOLA)
 PHOTO INDEX

General notes
 Not everything is explicitly listed – if a choice isn’t mentioned, it means I don’t think it has
any major long-term effects. However, since the game is still in development, I don’t always
know what will matter, or how. It’s possible that I’ve misinterpreted something, and
something that I say doesn’t matter may end up mattering.
 Coloured text means:
o Text like THIS should work as a clickable link.
o PLAYER STATS AND STATUSES.
o PHOTOS (in the gallery) and CAMERA CHARGE.
o TOKENS, INGREDIENTS, AND OTHER ITEMS.
o RELATIONSHIP POINTS and LOVE POINTS.
 There are probably some errors or omissions here.
Overview
Beginning of the game
o You can find OTHERS PHOTO 1 next to the bag above your head.
o Get the bag to continue. Follow the arrows. Afterwards, make your way back to the
campfire and talk to Counselor Katey. Choosing to finish your sentence when she gives
you a disapproving look COSTS YOU 5 TOKENS.

Around the camp

o Quests:
o You can pursue the MAIN STORY QUEST or OTHER, SMALLER QUESTS.
o Work:
o During the morning and afternoon, you can work with girls to tidy up parts of
the camp. This typically uses up the rest of the day. It gives you +1 RELATIONSHIP
with the girl in question, and usually rewards you with TOKENS. It also allows you
to progress each girl’s individual story (provided you have enough relationship
points).
o AMBER (pool) and PENELOPE (theatre) are available immediately.
o EMMA (mess hall) is available after you’ve helped one of the above.
o You can also work on tidying your cabin. This takes five rounds of work to finish.
If you start in the morning, tidying until evening counts as two rounds, and has a
50% chance of being rewarded with TOKENS. As far as I know, tidying your cabin
does not advance any plot.
o Evening and night:
o In the evening, you can join the girls at the campfire. Occasionally there are
useful rumors – if so, there will be an exclamation mark on the button. You can
socialize with one of the girls you know – this gives you +1 RELATIONSHIP with her
and advances time to night.
o You can sneak out of your cabin at night once you reach a CERTAIN POINT in the
main story. This may require you to dodge a camp counselor – you can increase
your chances of success by improving your STEALTH (see STATS AND STATUSES).
o Miscellaneous:
o The camp shop is located at the lake and is open at noon. At the moment, you
can buy GIFTS to raise girls’ RELATIONSHIP points, MAGAZINES to raise your STEALTH
ability, and bonus OUTFITS for girls.
o Some of the trash around the camp is collectable and can be brought to
Counselor Katey on recycling day (the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th – see your journal’s
calendar). You then have to sort it by type – paper, plastic, or glass. Each piece
gives 4 TOKENS, up to a maximum of 48 TOKENS (for 12+ pieces).
o Exploring the forest is possible after you reach a CERTAIN POINT in the main story.
Sometimes you need to do this for various quests/storylines. If you go exploring
when there’s nothing you’re particularly supposed to be looking for, you might
find random shop items or a field of flowers that heal WOUNDS.

Stats and statuses

o There are three personal skills and traits (so far) that are tracked:
o Stealth is useful for sneaking out of your cabin at night. It can be increased by
reading magazines which can be obtained from the shop and elsewhere. Each
magazine read increases your chance of success by ten percentage points (on
top of the random base chance).
o Bravery isn’t yet used for anything that I know of, but there is still one place you
can potentially earn a point (specifically, the 12th event of EMMA’S STORY).
o Language knowledge forms part of the MAIN STORY. It can be increased by finding
rune stones in the woods at the appropriate phase of the quest.
o It is possible for you to get WOUNDED in events. Wounds can be healed at the clinic for a
fee (although it’s possible there’s sometimes a bug around this?). If you get four
wounds, you wake up at the camp clinic and miss a day.
o Your magic camera needs to be CHARGED. Sometimes this will happen automatically as
part of the plot, but if you need to charge it yourself, the simplest way to do so is to pay
one of the girls to strip for you. This generally requires progressing through their
personal storyline to some extent first.

Invasions
o You get a brief glimpse of invasions when you first arrive at the camp, but that’s a
simplified, introductory version. Full invasions happen automatically on the 30th day of
the month (see your journal’s calendar), and there is also a plot event which triggers an
early invasion.
o During an invasion, you have a limited number of moves (displayed in the upper left).
o Looking around with your camera sometimes reveals useful things (including one thing
needed for A QUEST). You can also find TOKENS and fightable monsters, the locations of
which are at least partly random. Selecting a monster starts a minigame (click the
marker when it aligns with the monster), but requires camera charge – if you run out,
the invasion ends. Defeating the monster rewards you with miscellaneous loot which
you can open later.
o Once you reach a certain point in their personal storylines, girls are able to help you a bit
during invasions (either CAMERA CHARGE or TOKENS). Travel to their usual locations for this.
o When the invasion ends, you wake up on the bus again and the calendar is reset.
Despite that, you generally keep your progress, although the aforementioned early
invasion has complications in that regard.

Quest 1: All That Goes Bump

This is the game’s main storyline quest.

Emma attacked
o Spend a day working with one of the girls – your choices at the moment are AMBER at the
pool and PENELOPE at the theatre.
o +1 KATEY RELATIONSHIP at dinner.
o +1 EMMA RELATIONSHIP if you choose to help Emma (timed choice).
o You can now VISIT EMMA at the mess hall in the same way as Amber and Penelope.
Hazel’s secret
o Listen for rumors at the campfire in the evening. Hearing about Hazel’s bathing allows
you to leave your cabin at night. At this stage of the quest, you automatically avoid the
patrol counselor (which won’t always be the case).
o Go to the river. You get HAZEL PHOTO 1.
o +1 HAZEL SOCIAL if you show yourself (timed choice).
o If you now go back to your cabin instead of looking for Hazel, you find a GOLD DUBLOON. (I
don’t think this has a use in the current version of the game, but it will presumably do
something later.)

Stones
o Sneak out at night again and return to the river. Photograph the stone and guess the
word you don’t know (“understand”).
o There’s a timed choice when fighting the large monster, but I don’t think it makes any
long-term difference what you choose.
o If you ask Hazel to take off her clothes, you get a blowjob, HAZEL PHOTO 2 (two variants)
and a FULL CAMERA RECHARGE. If you don’t, you get +1 HAZEL RELATIONSHIP.
o It is now possible to explore the forest (outside your cabin or via the map). To advance
the quest, you need to find three runestones in the forest and photograph them with
the camera. This raises your LANGUAGE skill.

Scarlet
o Once you’ve photographed three runestones, visit Hazel at the river at night. Guess the
word you don’t know (“long”) and what her relationship to the WAR is (guarding it). If
you incorrectly guess that she worships the WAR, you learn a new word and can guess
again, but I don’t know if that will make any difference later.
o In the mini-game, click the marker when it’s over the spinning monster ball; then click
one of the three markers on Scarlet.
o Your camera will be drained to zero and you will be WOUNDED.
o I don’t think it makes a long-term difference what you do at the timed choice, and you
end up back home regardless. However, if you let the timer run out, you have to spend a
day in the clinic before continuing. (You might want to visit the clinic sometime anyway
to fix your wound, but that doesn’t cost any time.)

Corrupted
o Go to the big stone tablet with the glowing icons (via the “visit” option when exploring
the woods or via the map).
o This triggers an early INVASION of the camp. You can go wherever you like, but you only
have five moves – see the counter in the top left. There’s no escaping the monsters, and
there’s nothing you particularly have to achieve during this invasion, but you might want
to advance QUEST 4 while you’re here, and perhaps find TOKENS or fightable monsters
(see the INVASION section).
o As with normal end-of-the-month invasions, you wake up again on the bus taking you to
camp. This time, however, the girls at the camp won’t remember you – you will not be
able to advance their individual storylines or recharge your camera until you can do
something about this.
o Additionally, you can now do QUEST 3.

Tess’s help
o Try to re-introduce yourself to one of the girls you know. After failing at that, you’ll meet
a goblin girl (Tess). When you see Hazel, you get HAZEL PHOTO 3.
o There’s a timed choice: talking to the goblin girl gives you several further options;
attacking gets you WOUNDED; and letting the timer run out allows the tentacles to enter
Hazel (which gives a variant for HAZEL PHOTO 3; you can keep watching if you want). In the
end, however, you always end up getting a handjob/blowjob from Tess (JAILORS PHOTO 1).
o (After this, you can use Tess’s wrench to fix the electrical generator in the shed by the
pool. This makes a visual difference to the camp at night, but I don’t think it has an
effect on the plot so far.)

Extracting Hazel
o To create a place for Hazel, you need to extend your cabin – select the boarded-up door
inside. Working on the extension uses up the day, and needs to be done three times.
You get +1 LOLA RELATIONSHIP each time, and can now socialize with Lola at the campfire
in the evening. You also get some TOKENS.
o Once you’re finished, go to the wall (via the “visit” option when exploring the woods or
via the map). When you return home, you can choose what you like while waking her
up. Guess the word you don’t know (“medicine”, although as before, guessing the other
choices first teaches you new words).

Black sugar
o All the ingredients for the potion can be found by exploring the woods again, but some
of them can also be found around the camp – try the lake and the archery range for
LOTUSES (they’re found strung up in trees), and the archery range for THORNBERRIES (on a
bush). So far as I know, SKULLSHROOMS are only found in the wood, though.
o When you’ve got enough ingredients for a potion, you’ll automatically set up an alchemy
station that night. Select it, then drag the ingredients into the bowl according to the
recipe – in this case, 1 LOTUS, 2 SKULLSHROOMS, and 4 THORNBERRIES. Emma uses the potion
and is back to normal.
o If you want potions for the other girls, you’ll need to make more (and you’ll probably
have to go looking for ingredients again). When you’re ready, find one of the girls in her
usual spot and re-introduce yourself.
o This is the end of current content for this quest.

Other quests
These quests are smaller and less involved than Quest 1. Some of them can be found by wandering
around, while others arise while you’re doing something else (including Quest 1 and the girls’
individual stories) – see each quest for details.

Quest 2: The Prettiest Flower

o Go the lake at noon and talk to the girl there. If you agree that you’re here to peek at
naked girls, she promises a reward for collecting three blue flowers.
o Flower locations:
o Centre/campfire – in front of a bush on the right.
o Mess – in front of the logs on the left.
o Theatre – by the path on the right.
o When you return with them, you get OTHERS PHOTO 2.

Quest 3: Yo Ho Ho~
o This begins automatically after you’ve ADVANCED ENOUGH through the main story. You can
hear a new rumor at the campfire in the evening. Go to the new icon marked on your
map (“Captain”), use the camera, and select the cage.
o You can now upgrade your camera to increase its maximum charge. The first upgrade (to
150) requires you to have collected five photos; the second (to 200) requires ten photos.
(Note that you have to have collected the photos in this playthrough. The photo gallery
in your journal shows every photo you’ve ever seen, even if you reloaded or restarted
the game after getting it, but photos not obtained this time through don’t count here.)
o Finding the Captain is a necessary part of advancing QUEST 7, too.

Quest 4: Booty Hunter

o There is a locked chest in the leftmost of the cabins on the screen closer to your own
cabin (Cabins 1 on the map). The key is much harder to find – it can only be obtained
during an invasion, and you need to use the camera to see it. It’s around the neck of the
right frozen girl at the campfire.
o When you’re got the key and things are back to normal, go to the chest and open it. You
get OTHERS PHOTO 3, 25 TOKENS, and a friendship bracelet (a possible gift for PENELOPE).

Quest 5: Way Back in the ‘90s

o Sneak out at night (which requires progress through the MAIN STORY). At the group of
cabins closest to the campfire, go between the cabins on the left (there won’t be an
arrow there until you point at it). Look through the hole.
o Go back and knock on the cabin door. The TV remote that they want in exchange for
letting you watch them is in the camp counselors’ building (by the campfire) – go inside
and through the door on the left, where the remote can be found on the desk. Take it
back to the cabin for OTHERS PHOTO 4.

Quest 6
o I don’t think this one is in the game yet?

Quest 7: Angel in Chains

o This quest starts automatically if you progress far enough through AMBER’S PERSONAL
STORY. In order to advance it, you also need to have progressed far enough through
Quest 3.
o The ingredients for the hair growth potion can be found by exploring the woods. Make
the potion (2 ØDCORNS, 1 SLITHERWEED, 1 JELLY CUBE) and bring it to the Captain.
o Solve the Ød ward puzzle by rotating each block so that purple energy can flow to its
destination. (You get 30 TOKENS for doing so.)
o After this, you can optionally use hair growth potions to customize the girls (use the
“gifts” button when talking to them).

Quest 8: A Lasting Impression

o Go to the archery range at noon on one of the first four days of the month (see your
journal’s calendar for the current date). Talk to the morose camper and say that you’re
on the case.
o There is a bucket of tools in the storage shed by the pool. Get a unique gardening tool
from it and return to the morose camper before the fifth day of the month. You get
OTHER PHOTO 5.

Amber
Found by the pool as soon as you can travel there. Working with her to clean the pool gives you +1
AMBER RELATIONSHIP, and may also give you TOKENS and/or advance her personal storyline (if you have
enough points).

Events
1. Skateboard tricks
o +1 AMBER RELATIONSHIP if you let her show you some tricks; BONUS TOKENS if you
just want to work; or REDUCED TOKENS if you ask to try skateboarding yourself.
2. Torn shirt
o If you pay her, Amber removes her torn shirt instead of getting a new one.
Paying 5 tokens lets you either peek on her while she’s topless (covering her tits
with her hands) or earn +1 AMBER RELATIONSHIP for deciding not to.
o Regardless of your choice(s) above, Amber offers to strip for tokens in future.
3. Hair caught
o You get AMBER PHOTO 1. You can pull her hair again if you like.
4. Hair caught again
o If you undo Amber’s bra, you see her topless and CHARGE YOUR CAMERA.
o You get a variant for AMBER PHOTO 1.
5. Soaked bra
o +1 AMBER RELATIONSHIP if you want her to work.
o Amber will work the rest of the day topless if you suggest it.
6. Missing diary
o After this event, you can look for Amber’s missing diary. It can be found behind
the toilets near the campfire (the movement arrow is above the nearby bush
and won’t be visible until you point at it). You can read it if you like.
7. Diary outcome
o +3 AMBER RELATIONSHIP if you return her missing diary (see previous).
8. Pool re-opening
o +1 AMBER LOVE if you flirt with her.
9. Lifeguarding
10. Further lifeguarding
11. Arsenic’s cave
o OTHER PHOTO 6 and a variant for it.
o Select one of the targets on Arsenic’s chains. You automatically get QUEST 7,
which is necessary to advance Amber’s story beyond this point.
12. Freeing Arsenic
o After LEARNING about Ød wards, you can talk to Amber and return to the cave.
Select a marker on one of the chains again.
o You get AMBER PHOTO 3. If you choose to join the fun before freeing Arsenic, you
have sex with both Arsenic and Amber.
o Complete the Ød ward puzzle again. You receive Arsenic’s Summoning Stone
(the effects of which I don’t think are in the game yet).
o +1 AMBER LOVE if you choose the flirt option afterwards.
o Amber will be able to help you during INVASIONS in future.
o Arsenic sends you a recipe for see-through potions – you can collect it from the
mail box outside your cabin. If you choose to make and use this potion, it
(mostly) causes all the girls in camp appear nude for the rest of the day.
o This is the end of current story content for Amber.

Other interactions
o After her second event, Amber will be willing to pose nude for 10 tokens. This gives you
AMBER PHOTO 2 and 15 CAMERA CHARGE.
o After finding Amber’s diary (see the sixth event), you can get AMBER PHOTO 4 as a reward.
o You can get extra AMBER RELATIONSHIP points by giving her energy drinks (obtained at the
camp store and possibly elsewhere).

Emma
Found by the mess hall after you SAVE HER. Working with her to repair the mess hall gives you +1
EMMA RELATIONSHIP, and may also give you TOKENS and/or advance her personal storyline (if you have
enough points).

Events
1. Lunch thief
o +1 EMMA RELATIONSHIP if you share your sandwich; BONUS TOKENS if you just keep
working; or REDUCED TOKENS if you chase her.
o If you want, you can pay 5 tokens for her to flash her tits.
2. Search
o EMMA PHOTO 1.
3. Deeper search
4. Personal history
5. Watch thief
6. Strip search
o New variant of EMMA PHOTO 1.
o Choice has no lasting effect.
o Optionally, you can now go find the missing makeup by exploring the woods
(provided Hazel has TAKEN YOU THERE in the main story).
7. Accused
o +1 EMMA RELATIONSHIP if you found the makeup (above) – and if so, another +1
EMMA RELATIONSHIP if you don’t mention the hairclip you found with it.
8. Mess hall re-opening
o +1 EMMA LOVE if you flirt.
9. Emma’s puppy
o You meet Gibbly the fairy and get EMMA PHOTO 5. (As of v0.0.3.1, I think the
image displayed when you meet Gibbly might not match the image in the
gallery, but I could be mistaken about something.)
10. Gibbly and Emma
o Variant for EMMA PHOTO 5.
11. Gibbly, Emma, and you
o If you go into the forest (either alone or with Emma), you end up having sex with
Emma while she licks Gibbly again, and get a third variant for EMMA PHOTO 5.
12. Werewolf
o EMMA PHOTO 3.
o You have a timed choice:
o If you use your camera, you save Emma without trouble if you have 15
or more charge; if you have less than that, you get +1 BRAVERY but also
+1 WOUNDED in the process.
o If you look for Gibbly, you get +1 WOUNDED while saving Emma.
o If the timer runs out, the werewolf fucks Emma.
o Regardless of which route you take, the werewolf is cured of its corruption and
you get Gibbly's Summoning Stone (the effects of which I don’t think are in the
game yet). In future, Emma will be able to help you a little during INVASIONS.
o This is the end of current story content for Emma.

Other interactions
o After you SAVE HER, you can pay her 10 tokens to strip. This gives you either EMMA PHOTO
2 or EMMA PHOTO 4 (it’s random each time) and 15 CAMERA CHARGE.
o You can get extra EMMA RELATIONSHIP points by giving her stickers (obtained at the camp
store and possibly elsewhere).

Penelope
Found by the theatre as soon as you can travel there. Working with her to repair the theatre gives
you +1 PENELOPE RELATIONSHIP, and may also give you TOKENS and/or advance her personal storyline (if
you have enough points).

Events
1. Magic show
o +1 PENELOPE RELATIONSHIP and FEWER TOKENS than usual if you want her to teach
you magic. Alternatively, BONUS TOKENS if you insist that she clean. No effect if
you talk about burning witches.
2. Quest
3. Monster talk
o It’s now possible to socialize with Penelope at the campfire in the evenings.
4. Fire-fighting
o 30 TOKENS.
o +1 PENELOPE RELATIONSHIP if you lie about what caused the fire.
5. Discovery
o PENELOPE PHOTO 1.
6. Personal history
7. Fireball maker
o Variant for PENELOPE PHOTO 1.
o +1 PENELOPE RELATIONSHIP if you apologise.
o You can pay 10 tokens to see Penelope naked again. Regardless of your choice
now, Penelope will offer to strip for you in exchange for tokens in future.
8. Theatre re-opening
o +1 PENELOPE LOVE if you flirt. (No lasting difference between the other choices.)
o This is the end of current story content for Penelope.

Other interactions
o After her seventh event, Penelope will be willing to pose nude for 10 tokens. This gives
you PENELOPE PHOTO 2 and 15 CAMERA CHARGE.
o You can get extra PENELOPE RELATIONSHIP points by giving her friendship bracelets
(obtained at the camp store and possibly elsewhere).

Lola
Lola doesn’t have her own storyline events (yet?), and can’t usually be found around the camp.
However, she plays a role in other stories, and it’s possible to socialize with her at the campfire after
you’ve started to EXTEND YOUR CABIN (some way into the main story). You can also get LOLA PHOTO 1 by
going behind the showers at noon (the movement arrow for that only appears when you point at it)
and looking through the peephole.
