EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. _____, S.

OF 2023

AN ORDER CREATING THE BARANGAY TASK FORCE KALIKASAN

WHEREAS, Section 15 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution declares that it is the Policy of the State to
protect and promote the right to health of the people and instill health consciousness among them;
WHEREAS, Section 16 further states that the State shall protect and advance the right of the people to
balance and healthful ecology in accord with the rhythm and harmony of nature;
WHEREAS, DILG MC. 2018-112, Section 5.3.5. stipulates that the Barangay Ecological Solid Waste
Management Committee (BSWMC) shall organize core of area/street coordinators for the implementation
of the programs and activities relative to solid waste management – all in accordance with the provisions
of the Republic Act No. 9003, series of 2000, otherwise known as “The Ecological Solid Waste
Management Act”;
WHEREAS, pursuant to this, there is a need to create a task force that will take charge in the
implementation of Ordinances that enforces the provisions of the RA 9003 of 2000 and other related
environmental and health-promoting laws;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, <NAME OF PUNONG BARANGAY> - Punong Barangay of Alauli, Pilar,
Bataan, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create the Barangay Task Force Kalikasan,
to wit:

Section II. Powers and Function.
The Barangay Task Force Kalikasan shall have the following functions:
1. Accompany waste haulers to check waste segregation of households;
2. Conduct of regular inspection and enforcement of “No Segregation; No Collection” policy;
3. For purposes of enforcement of environmental policies, conduct regular inspection of water
bodies and open spaces for possible littering, illegal dumping and open burning of wastes;
4. Inspect commercial/industrial facilities/establishment concerning their compliance to
environmental laws and policies; and,
5. Assist the Barangay Solid Waste Management Committees in the implementation of programs,
projects, and activities within the Barangay.

Section III. Meetings


1. Meetings may be done every Quarter or whenever found necessary.

Section IV. Effectivity


This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon the date of approval and shall remain
valid effective unless sooner revoked, amended, or furnished.
