Time Allowed: 2 Hours 30 Minutes Maximum Marks: 60

General Instructions:
1. This Question paper contains- five sections A, B, C, D and E. Each section is compulsory. However, there
are internal choices in some questions.
2. Section A has 14 MCQ’s of 1 mark each.
3. Section B has 4 Very Short Answer type questions of 2 marks each.
4. Section C has 5 Short Answer (SA) type questions of 3 marks each.
5. Section D has 3 Long Answer (LA) type questions of 5 marks each.
6. Section E has 2 sources based /case based/passage based/integrated units of assessment (4 marks each) with
sub parts.

(а) ΔLMN with m  L = 30°, m  M = 70° and m  N = 80°.

(a) An aeroplane is flying at a height two thousand metre above the ground.
(b) A submarine is moving at a depth, eight hundred metre below the sea level.

24. To stitch a shirt, 2 m 15 cm cloth is needed. Out of 40 m cloth, how many shirts can be stitched and how

(i) Which among the above pair of cities have longest distance between them?
(ii) Write distance between Delhi-Kolkata according to international system of Numeration.

28. Two tankers contain 850 litres and 680 litres of kerosene oil respectively.

(i) Find the maximum capacity of a container which can


measure the kerosene oil of both the tankers when used
an exact number of times.
(ii) In how many times first tanker can be filled up using
that container?
