Using capital letters and full stops
ONLINE
A sentence has a subject and a verb. We use capital
letters (e.g. A, B, C) at the beginning of a sentence.
We use a full stop (.) at the end of a sentence.
He’s a big music fan.
Sometimes a phrase makes a sentence, but there’s no
SHOW
subject or verb. These phrases start with a capital letter
and end with a full stop.
