How to Download WebLct and Java Plug-In

Step 1: Click on the Links below to download both WebLct and Java

Step 4: Go to your Downloads folder and locate WebLct file & Java Plug-in

Step 5: Right Click on the files and extract the file as indicated

Step 6: Open the Java Folder and copy all files in it

Step 7 : Paste all the Java files in the WebLCT folder


Logging In to Web LCT to the IDU

Procedure

Step 1: Start the laptop and log in to the operating


system.

Step 2: Set the IP address of the laptop.


The IP address of the laptop should meet the following requirements:

• The IP address of the laptop is in the same network segment (the default network
segment is 129.9.0.20) as the NE, but their IP addresses are different.
• The subnet mask for the IP address of the laptop is the same as that for the IP address of
the NE (the default subnet mask is 255.255.0.0).

• The default gateway IP address is blank.


Step 3: Use a network cable to connect the Ethernet port of the laptop to the NMS PORT

Step 4 Open the WebLct folder on your PC, double-click the
Start Web LCT icon.

The system displays a CMD Interface as indicated below


Note: Select Language and Press enter. (English)

Step 5 On your Browser (Internet Explorer) Select the Advance Option
and Click on Proceed to Localhost

Step 6 Enter the values of User Name and Password, and then click
Login.

• User Name: admin


• Password: Changeme_123
If the entered user name and the password are both correct, the NE List page is displayed in the
Internet Explorer as indicated below

Procedure Setup 1
Step 1 Click NE Search in NE List and select Advanced Search as indicated below

Step 1 Click Search.

Step 2 After the WebLCT finds the NEs, click End Search.

Step 3 Click on the Gateway Type and select SSL Gateway.

Step 4 Click Add NE.

A dialog box is displayed, indicating that the NE is added successfully.

Logging In to an NE
After an NE is created, you need to log in to the NE before managing the NE.

Procedure
Step 1 In the NE List, select the target NE and click NE Login.

NOTE: Communication Status of the NE should be Normal before NE can be accessible


Step 2 Enter User Name and Password. Then, click OK

The NE Login dialog box is displayed.


• User Name: root
• Password: Changeme_123

Change the Default User Name and Password as Below

• User Name: root


• Password: AutoTest_123
Configuring the IF/ODU Information - LINK BUDGET
Configuring the IF/ODU Information of a Radio Link

Step 1 Click NE Explorer.


The NE Explorer is displayed.

Step 2 Click the Slot Layout tab and click Add Physical Boards.
This will add the IF card (ISM8) and its corresponding ODU.
Configuring the IF/ODU Information of a Radio Link

Step 1 Select Microwave Link Configuration

2 Select ISM8-1
Step 2: Select the IF card and port to be configure
Step 3: Configure the corresponding Basic Parameter of the radio link using the link budget.
1. Set according to the link budget.
2. Set other IF/RF information.

Note: Input the below information according to the Link Budget


Apply and Query after configurations have been completed

Step 6 Configure the corresponding ODU information of the radio link.

Step 7 Click Apply to Save Configurations.


• After the link has been established to the opposite end, click on Get Links to confirm the
Actual Rx Power(dBm) at both ends.

2+0 ALIGNMENT

Step 1. Install Antenna at the Height as Stated in the Link Budget

Step 2. Configure Only Vertical (IF 1) for your Alignment.

Step 3. With a multimeter align Antennas by Adjusting it to the Left/Right/Top/Down till the Planned
RSL is achieved.

Step4. Fully Tighten the antenna with Sturt bar after Alignment has been Achieved
1+1 SD SETUP
1+1 SD ALIGNMENT

Step 1. Install Antennas at the Height as Stated in the Link Budget

Step 2. First Align Antenna W and X till the planned RSL is achieve then Shut down Antenna X

Step 3. Align Antenna Y and X till the planned RSL is achieve then Shut down Antenna X

Step 4. Align Antenna Y and Z till the planned RSL is achieved.

Step5. Fully Tighten the antenna with Sturt bar after Alignment has been Achieved
