Foreign languages are not mere tools, soulless words, foreign languages are culture
itself.
Language is the material shell of thinking, language contains in it the objective
content of things and phenomena, of the material life of man. Therefore, learning a
foreign language means that we receive a second material system (besides our mother
tongue), which is as complete and complete as that first signal system in many
respects. Therefore, it is easy to understand why people with high proficiency are
more receptive to foreign languages than people with low levels of education (but not
except for cases of language aptitude). Language is culture, so learning a foreign
language must go hand in hand with learning culture and acquiring new scientific
knowledge. Learning a foreign language requires understanding the culture.
Therefore, students at foreign language schools are always trained with many subjects
about that country. These two are not separate.
Learning a foreign language is best when you are young and basically self-study,
especially while sitting in school.
Our brain is a complex and sophisticated processing organ, it is always filled with
knowledge, by personal experience… At a young age, the brain is still empty, not yet
"stressed" with many streams of knowledge, many complicated relationships, so
concentration is easier, so young people have to take advantage of their youth and
youth to learn culture and knowledge, including foreign languages. Scientific
documents show that people who learn foreign languages at a young age easily
receive and master skills than older people. Many young people when sitting on
school chairs, in university lecture halls just try to study for exams through foreign
languages (because foreign languages are difficult subjects to learn), their reasoning is
that they graduate from school to work and then learn, because foreign languages that
are not used will be forgotten. It is a fallacy, wanting to learn a foreign language well
is a process of accumulation and hard work, not "instant noodles", which can be used
today, even less fluently, especially for foreign languages of science and art majors.
The forerunner of Business English was when it began to be used in the 1970s in
international transactions. Since the development of the Internet in the 1980s, English
has become more and more popular among Internet users. By the 1990s, schools in
Europe, America, Asia or even Africa had made English a compulsory or elective
subject for their students.
The world is on the way of globalization, the distance is reduced due to fast traffic,
the border is increasingly open, people have the opportunity to go around the world,
do business in other countries, participate in world trade. All countries are somehow
connected to each other, so they need a common means of communication - a single
language. In the context of growing globalization, English is recognized as the most
convenient language as an ideal language.
