1 CONCEPT/SCRIPT (ONE TAKE) 1

We see a frame filled with curious wide eyes.

VO
in the world full of evens!
you are the odd one!

The frame slowly widens up as the face of the person


reveal.

VO
you are the hustler
you are the go getter

Then we see the background, the person is standing in a


narrow shabby lane and he is curiously looking at
everything.

VO
you can’t help but be what you
are,
you can’t help but do what you
do!

We see it’s a filmmaker shooting a scene under unimaginable


location/condition.

VO
you set the norms and then you
break them as well!

The filmmaker is signaling everyone to be on standby


position, his/her eyes focused on the monitor of the
camera.

VO
you are the ones, determined to
share your story to the world!
and we are the ones, desperate to
hear them out!

2 CONCEPT/SCRIPT 2

INT. CAFE. DAY

Roy(M 27) is arranging the chairs at a cafe.

He is checking the projector.

He is waiting outside the cafe, desperately checking at his


watch.

His friends arrive, Roy make them comfortable. They are all
loud and congratulating Roy.

Roy’s family members arrive.

Roy plays the film.

Some are talking on call while the film is playing.

Some are talking among themselves.

Some are busy placing the order.

Roy is observing everyone.

Everyone leaves, congratulating Roy. Roy passes them a fake


smile.

Roy is sitting alone in the cafe, he is feeling dull.

VO

Note: Both the concepts are serving different purpose.

The first one is more on the motivational side.

The second one is problem oriented, as almost every indie


filmmaker must have faced this problem with the screening
of the film.
