tlaxcaltecas
Tlaxcala is bordered by the states of Puebla to the
northeast, east, and south, México to the west, and
Hidalgo to the northwest.And these are som of the
cities:Cholula,Huamantla,Tizatlán,Xicohtencatl.
The four rulers of Tlaxcaltecas were Tepeticpac,
Ocotelulco, Tizatlán and Quiahuixtlán, whose
inhabitants participated in the founding of the
capital of Tlaxcala in the 16th century.

The most popular gods among the Tlaxcaltecs


were:
Camaxtli, being the main deity of hunting and war.
And Tlaloc, the first deity carved in stone, who
represented lightning, rain and earthquakes.
Other gods are: Tusi (mother of the gods),
Huehuetel (ancient god of fire), Tezcatlipoca (death
and destruction) and Exochiquizal (god of spring).

As for when the Tlaxcalteca society started
and ended, it is believed that the
Tlaxcaltecas were established as a distinct
cultural and political entity sometime in the
14th century. Their society continued to
develop and thrive until the arrival of Hernan
Cortes and the Spanish in the early 16th
century. Following their alliance with the
Spanish, the Tlaxcaltecas became an
important cultural and political force in
colonial Mexico.
