EXISTING SYSTEM
The existing system for electronic shop management is manual and paper-based. It involves
maintaining records, stocks, and sales manually using registers and ledgers. This process is
time-consuming, prone to errors, and lacks efficiency. The shop owner has to manually
update stock levels, generate bills, and maintain customer and employee records. There is no
system in place for barcode scanning or automated report generation. This manual approach
leads to delays in billing, difficulties in tracking stock levels, and challenges in managing
customer and employee information. Overall, the existing system lacks automation, user-
friendliness, and data accuracy, necessitating the development of a more efficient and
automated solution.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
The proposed Electronic Shop Management System is a desktop-based application
developed using C#. It aims to replace the manual and paper-based processes of managing an
electronic shop with an automated and efficient system. The system will provide features
such as inventory management, sales management, customer management, and employee
management. It will allow the shop owner to easily update and track stock levels, generate
bills, and maintain customer and employee records. The system will also support barcode
scanning for quick product identification and billing. Additionally, it will provide reports and
analytics to help the shop owner make informed business decisions. The proposed system
will be user-friendly with a modern and intuitive user interface.
FORM DESCRIPTION
The electronic shop management system project in C# is designed to automate and streamline
the operations of an electronics store.
Login Form:
Dashboard Form:
- Displays an overview of key information and statistics, such as total sales, top-selling
products, and low-stock alerts.
Employee details:
Product Form:
- Provides fields to specify product details such as name, description, price, and quantity.
Add Product:
-Here the Admin can add new products to the stock in his Electronic Shoppe.
Update Product:
-Here the Admin can update the details of the electronics product
Present in the stock.
Customer details:
Payment:
- Includes features like barcode, scanning, payment processing and receipt printing
Inventory Form:
- Enables the store manager to view and manage the stock of products.
Supplier Form:
- Allows the store manager to record and manage purchase orders from suppliers.
- Tracks the details of each purchase, including the supplier, quantity, and cost
Reports:
- Generates various reports, such as sales reports, inventory reports, and employee
performance reports.

FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
In the future enhancement of the Electronic Shop Management System, there are several key
improvements that can be implemented. Firstly, the system can be integrated with an online
platform to allow customers to browse and purchase products online. This will expand the
shop's customer base and increase sales. Additionally, the system can incorporate a CRM
(Customer Relationship Management) module to effectively manage customer interactions,
including tracking customer preferences and providing personalized offers. Another
enhancement is the integration of an automated inventory management system that will track
stock levels in real-time and generate alerts for low stock items. The system can also support
multiple payment options, including mobile payments, to provide convenience for customer.
