It is best to have your IT Department handle this upgrade. Fast internet access and local administrator rights
for the PC are required for this upgrade.

The overall sets are:


1. Installation of the new Hico 9.3.1 Software
2. Setup of the new Hico software (if initial installation)
3. Download and install the new publications

INTERNET ACCESS AND LOCAL ADMINISTRATOR RIGHT FOR


YOUR COMPUTER IS NEEDED

If there is version 9.3.0 installed, the new version 9.3.1 can be installed over the old version.

2 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Supported operating systems
− Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-Bit)
− Microsoft Windows 10 (64-Bit)

Minimum hardware requirements


− x64-based processor with a minimum of 2 GHz
− 4 GB computer memory
− 50 GB free hard drive space, in accordance with the size and number of publications

Recommended hardware requirements


− x64-based processor with a minimum of 3 GHz
− 8 GB computer memory
− 100 GB free hard drive space, in accordance with the size and number of publications

3 EMPTY BROWSER CACHE


The browser cache has to be emptied:

4 INSTALLATION
1. Download the current X-Browser to your computer from your MyPilatus Download section
Downloads > General Software > General PC-24
2. After downloading and extracting: Double click the .exe file and install the X-Browser.
Select“Installation as Service.
3. Proceed through the installation and allow the Config Center to open.
4. When open, click on Continue. Select the file customer.zip and click Continue.
5. When finished, click on Open Client and close the Config Center.

5 USER CONFIGURATION
1. Login with
- Username: administrator
- Password: hico1234

2. Go to SYSTEM MANAGEMENT > Login Clients

3. Click on DefaultClient

- 1. Switch Active to YES
- 2. Set Access Token Lifetime to 120
- 3. Set Refresh Token Lifetime to 125
- 4. Switch Integrated Windows Authentication to YES
- 5. Click Save & back

6 DEMOS CONFIGURATION
1. Go to System Settings > DeMoS Configuration

- 1. In Service URL enter https://demos.pilatus-aircraft.com/api/
- 2. Click on Retrieve
- 3. Select Pilatus Identity Server (External)
- 4. Set Sync Interval to 1440
- 5. Switch Active to YES
- 6. Switch Automatic install and Automatic update to NO if you want to install and update
manually
- 7. In Client Secret enter C87zQefiCXUafqnxhtpX 6t2vdSrYNNqVKnyOVRx7
- 8. Enter the Username
- Will be provided by Pilatus Aircraft
- 9. Enter the Password
- Will be provided by Pilatus Aircraft
- 10. Click Save & back

7 APPLICATION SETTINGS
1. Go to SYSTEM SETTINGS > Application Settings

- 1. Switch all to yes

3. In the top right corner you can check your last synchronization:

8 LOGOUT/LOGIN
1. Click on the profile icon > Logout.

2. Log in by clicking on Windows Integrated Login

 If everything is OK, you should be logged in

If you like to install individual packages manually:

1. Click on Packages

2. Click on the + icon

3. Proceed as follows:
1. Click on HICO DeMoS
2. Choose the package
3. Start import

If you like to install individual packages manually:

1. Click on Packages

2. Click on +

3. Start Import:
Locate the ZIP file for the PC-12 manuals you’ve downloaded from MyPilatus

1. Click on Creat package


2. Click on Local
3. Drag and drop the file (downloaded from MyPilatus) and start import
4. Click on Start import

Verify the publications are available under All Publications. Note, you may see an error that only
some of the features of this publicaiton are supported. This is normal due to the age of the
publication.

11 NOTIFICATIONS
Notifications are shown in the top right corner. You can choose to:
A) Confirm the messages
B) Delete the messages
C) Reload the messages
