Remark

1 General

1.1 Provide slop indication for PSV inlet and drain line.

1.2 Check the vendor scope of supply and clearly indicate the boundary line

2 Cooling Water Expansion Vessel

2.1 Check the expansion vessel is properly equipped with level monitoring system (LG, LT)

2.2 Check the expansion vessel is properly equipped with pressure monitoring system (PG, PT)

2.3 Check the expansion vessel is properly equipment with temperature monitoring (TG, TT)

2.4 Check the required buffer volume and level settings based on the project spec requirement.

2.5 Provide Note describes that expansion vessel shall locate at highest elevation of the cooling water circuit

Check the requirement of chemical injection for cooling water.


If chemical injection required for cooling water,

provide nozzle/piping/valves for injection.
Provide injection skid (incl. pump and tank)

2.7 Check the nitrogen blanketing connection is provided (with regulator or control valve)

2.8 Check the relief connection (with regulato or control valver) to LP flare in case of overpressure in Vessel.

2.9 Check the PSV installed in vessel and verify relieving scenario (including CV failure case)

2.10 Ensure the pressure regulating set pressure is properly selected based on max operating pressure.

2.11 Check the requirement of corrosion monitoring using coupon and probe

2.12 Check the installation of fresh water make up line

2.13 Check the provision of inlet diverter at cooling water circulation inlet

2.14 Check the provision of HC detector on cooling water expansion drum to monitor leakage from process

2.15 Check the provision of bypass around blanket gas supply line

3 Circulation pump

3.1 Check the reducer at pump suction is to be flat top eccentric type

3.2 If on/off valve is installed at pump discharge, the valve needs to be progressive valve opening i.e. minimum 30 sec opening time

3.3 Provide note description indicating 'symmetrical piping arrangement' of pump inlet piping.

3.4 Provide logic 'automatic start of stand by pump' in case of duty pump fail.

3.5 Provide PMCS logic of staggered starting of paralled pumps

Check the pump shut-off head and shut-off pressure (considering PSV set point for upstream presssure) which shall be within the system
