The Karachi Youth Model United Nations (KYMUN) is delighted to extend an invitation
to your esteemed institution for the 11th iteration of the prestigious Karachi Youth
Model United Nations Conference (KYMUN XI), taking place from November 10th to
November 12th 2022, hosted at the distinguished Marriott Hotel Karachi.
KYMUN boasts a rich history of successfully organizing numerous Model United
Nations conferences and debating competitions. Our Executive Body, with a wealth of
experience, has previously hosted international chairs and always ensures a strong
emphasis on academic excellence. KYMUN has always served as a platform for aspiring
debaters to engage in logical, thought-provoking and productive discourse.
Our Executive Body consists of members who have not only excelled in national and
international Model UN competitions but have also achieved recognition on a global
scale, such as the Model United Nations Turkey, where they accomplished the
distinction of winning the Small Best Delegation award after competing against teams
from over 50 countries.
KYMUN XI offers an opportunity for young minds participating to explore global issues,
allowing them to experience pressing challenges that have often been faced by world
leaders. In addition to this, KYMUN XI is also the ideal platform for mastering the art of
public speaking and persuasive argumentation as the delegates can refine their skills
and learn the nuances of diplomacy and negotiation, while also understanding the
importance of collaborating in order to craft extensive solutions. Participating in
KYMUN XI will undoubtedly be a transformative experience, nurturing personal growth
and grooming of all the delegates in attendance.
At KYMUN XI, participants can choose from a diverse array of committees, each
dedicated towards a specific field of interest. This diverse approach enables the
delegates to gain a comprehensive insight of global challenges while also understanding
local perspectives which ultimately aims to transform them into well-informed global
citizens.
KYMUN XI will also feature interactive and social activities outside of the committee
sessions which includes three social events. Nonetheless, these social events will strictly
adhere to safety and health protocols that prioritize the well-being of all delegates,
secretariat members and volunteers.
Attached to this letter, you will find comprehensive information on the conference,
including the registration and payment guidelines, along with a tentative schedule.
