Amendment 2016 in Building Construction and Development Bye-

law, 2008 (as amended 2011)

(C) Edge Treatment
(1) Inner Side
In order to separate cycle track from main
carriage way, action as under, shall be
taken towards the edge of main carriage-
way:-

Requirements for construction of Multi Residential units in Residential Plots

26.1 General (i) Permission of multi-residential units, under the provisions

of more than one plots in planned colonies.
(iii) The density of concerned colony/area (area covered
under approved lay out plan) should be within the limit
of maximum density prescribed in Master Plan/Zonal
Development Plan otherwise construction of units shall
be permitted only after Authority taking action, as per
rules, for amendment in density.
(iv) It shall be compulsory to submit certificate of structural
engineer regarding structural safety of the building to
the Authority at the time of approval of plan.
(v) Height of the building shall be governed by Regulated
area of A.S.I., Air port Funnel Zone and other statutory
controls (if any), etc.
(vi) Planning, designing and construction of buildings shall
be carried out ensuring fire safety as required by Part-
4 Fire & Life safety of National Building Code-2005.
(vii) Other requirements in regard to construction of
buildings shall be in accordance with provisions of
Building Construction and Development Bye-law.
(viii) In case of more than four residential units U.P.
Apartment (Construction, Ownership and Promotion of
Maintenance) Act, 2010 and Rules made thereunder
and Bye-laws shall be applicable.
