Assembly & Operation Manual

SAFETY GUIDELINES
This manual contains information that is important for you, the owner/operator, to know and understand.
This information relates to protecting personal safety and preventing equipment problems.

It is the responsibility of the owner/operator to inform anyone operating or working in the area of this
equipment of these safety guidelines. To help you recognize this information, we use the symbols that are
defined below. Please read the manual and pay attention to these sections. Failure to read this manual
and it’s safety instructions is a misuse of the equipment and may lead to serious injury or death.

All safety warnings and manuals must be read.

Warning must be kept in sufficient conditions. In the
state of disappearance and being damaged, a new
safety signs must be supplied..

Emergency Security: This is the safety alert symbol. It

is used to alert you to potential personal injury hazards.
Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to
avoid possible injury or death.

Danger: indicates an imminently hazardous situation

which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious
injury.

Warning: indicates a potentially hazardous situation

which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious
injury.
.

Caution: indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if

not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.

1
Start motor properly
Do not start motor before grounding properly.
Disconnect electric drive module’s connections before
restarting motor loadings
In blockage situations in order to open blockage, do not open
and close recurrently.
These types of applications may damage elevator and drive
components.

PRACTICAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Understand service procedures before working. Keep area
dry and tidy.
Do not lubricate maintenance and adjust machine at working
time. Keep hands, foots and clothes away from rotary band
and pulley.
Keep all parts in suitable conditions and connect properly.
Immediately repair damages. Change eroded and broken
parts. Discharge surplus machine oil and oil fouling.
.

DESCALE PAINTING BEFORE WELDING AND

TEMPERATING
Avoid from possible poisoning and fume.
Detrimental gases may be appeared when paint is temperate
with welding, brazing and fire.
Work in fresh air and fresh area.
Remove all paint and solvent.
Descale paint before welding and tempering.
 Avoid from breathing dust if you sandblast. Use
certificated mask

 If you use paint and solvent, wash it with soap and

water. Remove all solvent and inflammable matter
from area.

 Give at least 15 minutes for discharging of smoke

before welding and heating.

2
High voltage risk: The high voltage places and must not be approached
without authorized person.

Not approach to operating machine; do not approach to operating

machine.

Waste material may spread. Use protective glasses.

Rotary moving parts kill or mutilate.

Care and Maintenance

In order to avoid accidents, before any

care works power should be cutted off and
locked.

Maintaince and care units provides longer service life of machine. Same with all other
equipments if sliding gate is not used wisely and care services did not do right way
service life of gate should decrease. Please follow next steps to provide longer service
life of equipment.
 Nobody except autorized service personal should not interfence equipment.
 While machine working do not put hands under it. Do not interfere machine before
stopped it.
 Avoid danger of lightning put lightning rod in your region.
 Machine should be used by autorized personal.
 Our company not responsible for accidents occure in this condition.
 In order to increase performance and service life of machinery please attend
to our notices.
 Do not forget to control bearings and all other mooving parts during daily usage.
 Oiling bearings according to manufacturer reccomendations.
 Oiling gear reducer according to manufacturer reccomendations.
 Check V-belt for proper tension and wear pereodically.

In case machine will not work for a long;

 Complitelly clean the machine.

Additionally, the following issues should be taken;

 Apling welding process to sliding gate can damage as well as sliding gate and
electrical system. When welding is needed take protectional measures to sliding
gate. In case of care works, obligation to connect something to sliding gate
remove and change methods should be considered carefully.
 While power connecting works of sliding gate motor follow manufacturer
reccomendations. Avoid injury the motor wiring should be done by certified
electrician. Off switch should be close to the engine so that the system can easily
be turned off in order to help prevent accidents during maintenance. Check the

suitability of the motor shaft rotation before connecting the drive belts.
 bağlamadan önce motor şaft rotasyonunun uygunluğunu kontrol ediniz.

LUBRICATION

Lubricating oil quantity to be used and selection of oil must be correct for the reducers to have long life
and to run with good performance. Reducers are delivered as being filled with lubricating oil. Lubricating
oil should be added or decreased according to assembly type. Information about the standard lubricating
oils which are used in reducers is given at table. In order to prevent oil leakage during long period storage
due to inner pressure, top plug sholud be removed according to assembly type and venting plug should be
mounted.
Mineral oils should be changed in every 10.000 hours. In order to empty the oil easiky and to clean the
reducer well, oil should be changed at the end operating hour when the oil is hot.

Synthetic and mineral oils must not be mixed during filling and unloading
times.

Oil level control

 Disconnect the electric connection of engine drive module and secure in

order to not restart. Wait until reducer module becomes cold.
 Settlement of reducer must be paid attention when montage position is
changed.
 Oil level plug reducer: screw off the oil level plug, control the filling level, if
necessary, fix the level, and screw the oil level plug.

Oil control

 Disconnect the electric connection of engine drive module and secure in

order to not restart. Wait until reducer module becomes cold.
 Take little oil from oil discharging plug.
 Control the quality of oil
Viscosity
Change oil at the period different from periods determined at the section of
Control and Maintenance Periods when you see high contamination

7
 Oil level plug reducer: screw off the oil level plug, control the filling level, if
necessary, fix the level, and screw the oil level plug.

Renewing oil

 Reducer must have working temperature, disconnect the electric

connection of engine drive module and secure in order to not restart. Wait
until reducer module becomes cold.

Warning: Reducer must not completely get cold because of effects of cold oil
on its flowing and discharging features.
At Oil drain/ oil level plug reducer
 Put a cup under the oil drain plug.
 Take out oil level plug, aeration plug and oil drain plug.
 Drain oil completely. Clean the gear-module with a suitable solvent.
 Fix the oil drain plug.
 Fill similar type fresh oil from aeration funnel, if oil type will be changed,
consult our firm. No permission to mix different type synthetic and mineral
oil.
 Fill enough oil according to montage position (look up to lubricant filling
section) and data on capacity label.
 Control the oil level at oil level plug.
 Fix oil level plug to its place again.
 Fix aeration plug.
