SCENE 1: DEPARTMENT RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT (LOW CONSIDERATION
LEADER)

DEE: Good Morning Sir Syiraz, I’m sorry that I couldn’t pick up your phone last night because I was in
hospital taking care of my sick mother and I might not be able to come to work tomorrow as I need to take
care of her.

SYIRAZ: Are you serious? My work is more important than your personal life issues. I don't care who is
sick, you need to do my work at that time. I cannot tolerate you as this is one of the biggest projects for us
this year. I want my work settled in immediately.

AIN: Sir Syiraz, this is not the appropriate way to scold her. That was an emergency situation that she
cannot control. If you were in her place, you would feel uneasy and take an emergency leave too.

SYIRAZ: Is that my problem? She totally did not do our important projects and gave such nonsense
excuses. By hook or by crook, I want my projects to get settled by this week.

DEE: But this is not fair! This is clearly an emergency situation. You need to have empathy sir. I still
remember that you give emergency leave easily to Ain way too many times. This is favoritism!

AIN: I'm sorry but this is getting worse sir. I don't want any favoritism to happen in our office since it
affects our work reputation and creates uneasy feelings between me and Dee. I noticed that you gave me a
lighter workload and would cover up my mistakes.

SYIRAZ: Hey! Don't talk gibberish. I never do favoritism in this office. All of the employees are the same
and all of you are under me. So just listen to all of my instructions!
SCENE 2: DEPARTMENT CUSTOMER SERVICE (HIGH CONSIDERATION LEADER)

IDHAM: Good morning Nadzirah, how is the progress of the work that have given to you?

NADZIRAH: Good Morning Sir Idham, I found some recent feedback on our website about our
products that just launched in the market last week.

IDHAM: What was the feedback that you have obtained? Is the customer satisfied or are there
any complaints about it?

NADZIRAH: Based on the feedback, most of them were satisfied with our new products.
However, some of them were not satisfied with the upgrades of the products. This is because they
prefer the old designs.

IDHAM: Thank you Nadzirah for your concern and caring about our company. Don’t worry about
the feedback, I'm sure that we can take care of this thing and make some innovation or something
to make our customer satisfied.

NAD: Thank you sir for convincing me about this issue. I'm so worried before this.

IDHAM: No problems Nadzirah. If you have anything just tell me earlier okey. By any time, can
you ask the others if they have free time this afternoon?

NAD: Yes Sir, I will ask them immediately. Why is that Sir?

IDHAM: Nothing much, I would like to treat my employees to lunch at Luna Cafe tomorrow.

NAD: Okay Sir, I will inform them and get back to you this afternoon.
SCENE 3: HAVING LUNCH TOGETHER (DEE, NAD, AIN)

NAD: Hi Dee and Ain. How are you? It has been a long time since we had lunch together.

AIN: HI Nad. I’m doing well. Yes. We have not met each other for like weeks now after
Ramadhan.

NAD: Dee, are you okay? You do look very tired right now. Have you been getting enough rest?

DEE: Hi Nad, yes I'm okay but I only get a few hours of sleep by taking care of my mother these
few days.

NAD: So, how is your mother? I saw that you posted about her on social media that she had gone
through an operation two days ago?

DEE: Alhamdulillah, she is doing well right now but I’m a bit worried about her as she is alone
right now in the hospital. Then, Sir Syiraz did not understand my situation. He is in a temper with
me as he needs me to do the project that we are currently working on.

NAD: Did you tell him about it? How does he react to it?

DEE: Well I did but he seems to not accept it.

AIN: Yeah, I was there when Dee was scolded. She was actually scolded in front of everyone. I
feel pity for her as she looks very tired and her face looks very pale this morning. We were talking
back to him as we have been feeling dissatisfied.

DEE: I just wish I had a considerate employer like Sir Idham. I’m sure he will understand me and
my situation.
NAD: I'm so glad that I can work under Sir Idham. He is such an understanding employer that I
have ever known.

SCENE 4: ACCIDENT

SYIRAZ: Aw, my leg

AIN: Eh, Mr Syiraz, you look so terrible? Are you okay?

SYIRAZ: Oh Ain, i had fell off the stairs, i think my ankle is twisted

AIN: Yeah, I can see that, your ankle is so terrible. This can't happen, I need to call an ambulance
right now. Hello? Is this Columbia Hospital? My friend is injured and he can’t even walk right
now. Can you send an ambulance immediately? Thank you.

SYIRAZ: Oh Ain, you are so thoughtful. I don’t expect you to be here to help me, after what I
have done to you before.

AIN: It’s okay Mr Syiraz. Human makes mistakes and i'm your employees, you are my boss. I still
have to respect you.
SCENE 5: IDHAM ADVICE SYI

IDHAM: Hello Syi, how is your condition? Is it getting better for you?

SYIRAZ: Hi Idham. Thank you for asking me. My health condition is good Idham but I regret my
attitude towards my employees.

IDHAM: Why did you say that? Are there any problems between you and them?

SYIRAZ: Actually, if you want to know, I treat my employees horribly and they might hold
grudges on me. I have been a bad employer, I urge them to work overtime, I also prevent them
from taking an emergency leave to finish all my work.

IDHAM: Why would you treat your own employees badly?

SYIRAZ: Because I want them to finish all my work immediately, as well as I need to take care
of my reputation and the quality of my work. I need my work to be done perfectly.

IDHAM: Yes, I know you want your employees to submit all your work on time but you can’t
always treat them like what you feel.

SYIRAZ: Hmm I really feel so embarrassed about my behavior towards them.

IDHAM: Good, you should feel bad about what you have done. As a manager, you should treat
your employees in a good manner. If they have any emergency, you should give them the
opportunity to settle their problems first but just in case of an emergency only.

SYIRAZ: I just don’t want them being lazy and disrespectful to me if I allow them for all what
they want.
IDHAM: I agree with you but now if you still treat them badly until forever, of course they will
not respect you. So you need to be balanced in your treat manner. You must change your behavior
after this and try to approach their work wisely. So that, they will give some respect to you because
you treat them better than before.

SYIRAZ: Now I have realized that I treat them in the wrong ways.

IDHAM: Well, I think you should meet them privately and apologize to them or maybe you can
treat them for lunch. Lastly, I hope that you will learn your lesson.
