Dyno Control – Main Screen

Page Up – Moves Dyno Set Point higher at slowest rate


Page Down – Moves Dyno Set Point lower at slowest
rate
Shift + Page Up – Moves Dyno Set Point higher at
medium rate
Shift + Page Down – Moves Dyno Set Point Lower at
medium rate
Ctrl + Shift + Page Up – Moves Dyno Set Point higher
at fastest rate
Ctrl + Shift + Page Down – Moves Dyno Set Point
lower at fastest rate
B – Activates Dyno Brake
V – Activates Vehicle Fan
D – Activates Dyno Fan

Dyno Setup – Main Screen
Ctrl + E – Used to create a New Test Header
Ctrl + T – Used to select an existing Test Header
Ctrl + R – Tachometer Pulses Per Revolution Setup
Ctrl + S – Derived RPM (KPH/1000) Setup
Ctrl + P – Channel Properties, for changing Units of
Measure (HP to KW, Kpa to Psi etc)
Ctrl + D – Dyno Setup, used on AWD Models to change
control mode from either AWD, FWD or RWD
Ctrl + B – Dyno Bed Control, used on AWD Models
equipped with dyno software controlled wheelbase
adjustment
Ctrl + C – Used to view the Correction Calculator
screen
Ctrl + A – Used to view Alarm Status
Ctrl + X – Used to Clear Alarms

Mouse Right Click Functions:
Main Screen

Right click on Power/Torque/Speed gauges to setup


Scales, Autoscaling and Colours etc.
Right click on Digital Meters to setup what Dyno
Channels are needed to be displayed in each Page Group.
Different Page Groups are selected by pressing
Keyboard buttons 1 thru 9.
Right click on Chart Recorder to setup what Dyno
Channels are needed to be displayed for 1st or 2nd
Trace, also used to setup the choice of Total Torque,
Motive Force or Total Power for Autoranging +/- 50
Trace.
Right Click on “Vehicle Fan” or “Dyno Fan” buttons to
choose between AUTO or MANUAL fan control, if
choosing AUTO, the road speed at which both fans are
activated can be selected.
Right Click on Atmospheric Correction tab to view the
Correction Calculator screen.
Right Click on Company Name to setup Company Name,
Address, Phone & Fax Numbers and Text Style.
Right Click on “RWD”, “FWD” or “AWD” button to
change Dyno Control Mode, only on AWD models.

Functions from Main Screen
F2 – Shortcut to Ramp Test Mode
F4 – Shortcut to Speedometer Test
Shift + F4 – Shortcut to Odometer Test
F7 – Shortcut to Static Test
F9 – Shortcut to OBDII Monitor
Shift + F9 – Shortcut to OBDII Control
Ctrl + F2 – Shortcut to Analyse Screen
Ctrl + F7 – Shortcut to view Static Test file

Mouse Right Click Functions:
Test Screen (Ramp Test Screen)

Right Click on either Top Graph or Main Graph to


setup:
• AFR Scale and Limit Lines for Top Graph if using
AFR in Top Graph eg. 10 – 15 (Scale) and 12 – 13
(Limit Lines)
• Test Monitor Channels – to set these up, drag and
drop available channels into the required spaces
that suits the application
• Choose what Dyno Channel is displayed in the Top
Graph, the software is defaulted to show AFR, any
available Dyno Channel can be displayed in the Top
Graph, but an appropriate Scale must be defined
in order to see the live trace during a ramp test.

B – Activates Dyno Brake


V – Activates Vehicle Fan
D – Activates Dyno Fan
Space Bar – Used to Initiate, Start and End Ramp Test
Alt + U – Setup Ramp Test
Alt + C – Setup Power Scales and Options
Alt + H – View/Edit Test Header
Alt + A – Define Alarms
Alt + O – Correction Calculator
Ctrl + B – Dyno Bed Control, used on AWD Models
equipped with dyno software controlled wheelbase
adjustment.

Keyboard Shortcuts available in
Analyse Screen:
* the top window must be “focused” for these shortcuts to work, ie. the
band at the top of the window must be blue, not shaded.

Ctrl + P – Toggles Power trace On/Off in top window


Ctrl + T – Toggles Torque trace On/Off in top window
Ctrl + F – Toggles Motive trace On/Off in top window
Ctrl + Q – Shows Average Torque
Ctrl + W – Shows Average Power
Ctrl + A – Shows Average Motive Force
F2 – Exit to Ramp test screen
F3 – Scale to Best Fit
F4 – Scale to Full (0-200kph, 0-2000KW/HP)
Ctrl + C – Toggles Data On/Off with or without
Atmospheric Correction
Ctrl + I – Toggles Data On/Off with or without
Vehicle Inertia Correction (only available on models so
equipped)
F5 – Toggles Statistics At Cursor window On/Off
F6 – Toggles All Data At Cursor window On/Off
F7 – Toggles Channel Graph 1 On/Off
F8 – Toggles Channel Graph 2 On/Off
F9 – Toggles Channel Group On/Off
F11 – Toggles Test Comments On/Off

F12 – Tiles Windows
Ctrl + F1 to F6 – Toggles Tests 1 -6 On/Off that are
selected in Run Buffer
Shift + F1 to F6 – Changes Reference Run, ie.
Pressing Shift + F3 makes the Test in Run Buffer
position 3 the new Reference Run
Shift + Ctrl + F1 to F6 – Loads the run selected into
the Table Data Screen, ie. Pressing Shift + Ctrl + F2
load the run data from Run Buffer position into the
Table Data Screen
Ctrl + G – Toggles Grid Lines On/Off
Ctrl + B – Toggles Data Fly box On/Off
Ctrl + N – No Data Smoothing
Ctrl + L – Light Data Smoothing
Ctrl + M – Medium Data Smoothing
Ctrl + H – Heavy Data Smoothing
Ctrl + U - Channel Properties
