PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Half Way Tree Police Station Guardroom – Evaluate and resolved complains made by persons to
the police. This includes but not limited to the identification, investigation, and prosecution of
offenders. Executing bail, conditions of bail, Preliminary traffic accident reports, Conducting
mediation & (Free) counseling sessions, dealing with missing person reports, liaising and reporting to
police control.
Half Way Tree Lockups – Tasked with the responsibility of manning the Half-Way-Tree (HWT)
Jailhouse, which consist of several hundred prisoners convicted of several offenses against the state.
This includes but not limited to providing and sharing meals, regulating bath and restroom breaks,
internal offenses & misconduct, cell searches and counseling.

Main Responsibilities Includes the following:
Half Way Tree Traffic Office - (2018-2019) – Tasked with the responsibility for major and
minor accidents in and around St Andrew central. It includes This includes but not limited to
documenting, analyzing and investigating traffic accidents and reports as well as liaising with
Law firms and insurance companies to ensure clarity and transparency;
Attending to Lost Documents – Assisting road user, if user loses his or her Motor vehicle
documents, License plate, License disc and Titles; and
Foot Patrol - (2016-2017) – I was a member of the operational support (Ops) team at St.
Andrew Central, where I was tasked with the responsibility of patrolling (on foot) communities
as well as being readily available on call for operational support;
Mobile Patrol ( Uniformed )– This included working alongside the St Andrew central patrol
supervisor in responding to 911 emergencies, deploying police resources, traffic management,
settling domestic disputes, dealing with the mentally challenged, troubled teens and diverse sect
of persons; and
Half Way Tree Quick Response team – Tasked with the responsibility of Patrolling St.
Andrew central via motorcycles for Traffic management and crime detection and prevention
purposes.
Other Stations - (2015-2016) – Performed station guard duties at outstations such as Matilda’s
Corner Police Station, Mona Police Post, Papine Police Station, August town Police Station,
Stadium Police Station, Crossroads Police Station, & KPH Police Post.
Beat Duty – Was tasked with the responsibility of visiting businesses and enterprises (Both
government and private) identifying and attending to complaints and reviewing footages of
surveillance cameras.
Prisoner Guard (2014-2015) – This included 12-24 Hour security and restraint of convicted
high-risk felons charged for crimes such as rape, murder, fraud while they were being attended
to at the University of the west indies, Kingston Public Hospital, Nuttall Memorial Hospital,
Chess Hospital; and

Half Way Tree Transport center (Uniformed) – Working alongside the JUTC staff members
to curb the outbreak of theft among citizens at the center.
Military Pay and Records Office - JDF Pay Clerk (2010 – 2013)
Jamaica Defense Force – Civilian Pay and Records Officer Pay Clerk (2012 – 2013)
As Pay Clerk my main responsibility was to managed the fortnightly and monthly civilian payroll,
deduction, and vacation/ sick leave, appointments, seniorities, increments, and submitting monthly
reports to the permanent secretary in the ministry of finance.

Main Responsibilities Includes the following:
Verify timekeeping records and consult employees about any discrepancies;
Record payroll data in our software system and verify all amounts prior to disbursement of
cheques;
Alter employee tax status as needed as well as any information about withholding;
Prepare manual checks for distribution to employees;
Initiate direct deposits;
Change employee banking records when necessary to process payments accurately;
Record employee complaints, questions and concerns about payroll services and communicate
those issues to HR manager; and
Maintain compliant policies and procedures for processing payroll checks
