1.0 PURPOSE:
To ensure the safety of employees by using the appropriate Personal Protective
Equipment.

2.0 SCOPE:
All employees in areas requiring Personal Protective Equipment.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
• Supervisors: Ensure Personal Protective Equipment availability and oversee its use.
• Employees: Use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment properly.
4.0 PROCEDURE
4.1. Wearing Personal Protective Equipment:
Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment before entering designated areas.
Ensure Personal Protective Equipment fits well.
4.2. Maintenance:
Check Personal Protective Equipment for damage before use.
Clean Personal Protective Equipment after use.
Store in the designated place.
Report damaged Personal Protective Equipment to supervisors.
4.3. Training:
New employees receive Personal Protective Equipment training.
Periodic reminders on Personal Protective Equipment importance and use.
