WORK EXPERIENCE (10+ YEARS)

I have supervised well construction process from spud then completion & run suitable artificial left then rig move for more
than 15 wells & work over for more than 60 wells (vertical & Deviated), including follow and carry out all rig operations,
such as: (Drilling, running casing, cementing, BOP testing, logging, well testing, coring, well displacement, perforating,
fracking& run ESP & Sucker Rod pump & rig move monitoring,…), supervise most of killing well operations, Successfully
overcame drilling problems, Effectively held operational and morning meetings to coordinate activities and provided the
necessary plan of action for the daily activity, Ensured full compliance with the company HSE Policy and objectives.

Working as a drilling and work over rig supervisor on onshore rigs which drill exploratory, directional & deep oil wells in
El-Fayum area, Egypt.
 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

❖ As drilling supervisor:

• Follow up HSE Regulations.

• Rig acceptance as per API standards.
• Execute Drilling programs safely, Modify same according to actual well conditions within policies, standards
and procedures.
• Conduct daily meetings with all key persons to outline daily objectives, safety issues, precautions for
operations, contingency plans, materials needed, identifying possible hazards and mitigation plan for
unscheduled events.
• Prepare a daily plan ahead for the forthcoming operations illustrating the tasks of every person involved in
the job.
• Prepare Shallow Gas Kick mitigation plan.
• Prepare well control calculations, Killing plan and Equipment test.
• Design Hydraulics, determine Optimum Flow rates for each hole size.
• Prepare a mitigation plan for possible drilling hazards like well control issues, stuck pipe, Loss of Circulation,
Well bore stability related factors.
• Optimize drilling parameters within operational limits achieving optimum hole cleaning without jeopardizing
rate of penetration (ROP) and direction plan.
• Prepare a detailed game plan with check list for all jobs i.e. running casing, Cementing, Fishing and Well
head work… Etc.
• Define maximum over pull, critical buckling, critical rotary speed and Kick tolerance for each hole.
• Selecting optimum shale shaker screens for optimum cut out point.
• Monitor all hole cleaning factors (Torque and drag, Equivalent circulating density "ECD" trends, recovered
cutting versus drilled meters, amount, size and shape of cutting on shale shaker).
• Offset well data and Site survey analysis.
• Well performance data like (planned vs actual drilling time curve, drilling cost/ft., planned vs actual cost)

❖ As Workover supervisor:

• Prepare, Review, follow up Workover & well Operations Supervision Work over Rigs (350 to 1000 H.P).
• Expert 5+ years in Install ,Maintenance & Replace Artificial lift Systems((ESP)- Sucker Rod Pump)
• Manage, supervise & direct all personnel working in the well site.
• Perform hydraulic frac & acid treatment jobs.
• Run different types of perforation methods (TCP, Csg Gun, Gas Gun).
• Supervise Many well intervention jobs (Slick line, E-line, CT).
• Prepare daily drilling & workover reports & send them to the concerned operations teams.
• Set appropriate plans & take necessary precautions for every job on the rig.
• Hold safety meetings with rig & service crews before every critical job.
• Manage completion& workover materials movement from & to the warehouse & update
materials inventory.
• Take necessary precautions to avoid completion or workover problems.
• Run different types of completion for (oil producer, water injection, water flood &
water source wells).
• Complete well with natural flow or artificial lift completion (ESP or sucker rod pumps).
• Set and Unset all types of the TACs ( For Mechanical TAC by apply the required number of turns in the
mentioned direction & for Hydraulic TAC by applying the required procedures)
• Set different types of sucker rod pumps with the standard procedures (Rod pumps, insert pumps)
• Supervise the pulling & running on sucker rod with different sizes with assuring applying the optimum torque
for each size
• Check the functionality of all pumps on surface before & after operation
• Supervise the handling operations for all pulled rods for storage.
• Check setting of pumps in the setting nipple be applying the required overpull
• space out pump depth match out required stroke length
• Test the functionality of the pumps after setting by applying pump strokes
• Supervise the fishing operations for different types of rods by choosing the right overshot based on the
location of the parted part of the rod (Polished rod ,Rod body, shoulder or coupling)
• Supervise the inspection of the pulled tubing & sucker rods
• Set or suggest appropriate actions & procedures to overcome & eliminate workover problems.
• Complete Work over operations (design, witness, report & evaluate)
• Work over Rigs , Production Equipment, Beam Workshop, Work over Equipment workshop, well service
pumps Workshops, Offshore Platforms well Services, Work over & Well services Operations)

❖ As a drilling engineer at main office:

• Design drilling, completion & workover programs with revision of senior
drilling engineers & approval of drilling manager.
• Put out drilling services & equipment contracts to tender & award them technically.
• Compilation of Tender Documents (ITB) & Contract Packages in compliance of Oil & Gas industry
standards.
• Preparation of Contract documents, amendments, variations in accordance with approved company
policy.
• Execution and distribution of contract documents to Contractors and User Departments.
• Gathering information regarding the status of ongoing contracts and issue periodical reports.
• Establishing and maintaining an Approved Vendors list and a contracts database.
• Performing other similar duties such as providing administrative assistance to other staff in contract
related issues.
• Discuss drilling, workover operations, problems & suggest improvements.
• Check invoices & tickets of services done in the well site.
• Prepare the drilling budget needed for the operation and monitor actual drilling expenditures against ACV
for ongoing activities, initiate amendments in line.

• Prepare final well reports.
