The Iso-Gate™ WS Series heavy duty knife gate valve
is uniquely designed with both ease of maintenance
and cost effectiveness in mind.
Valves designed only for liquid service have sometimes
been applied in abrasive/corrosive slurries, often with
less than satisfactory results. Typical problems result-
ing from using unsuitable valves may include rapid
wear of the valve seat, sticking valves, and leakage to
the atmosphere.
Using materials proven by Weir Slurry™ North
America's experience in abrasion and corrosion resist-
ance, the Iso-Gate WS Series heavy duty slurry valve
combines a low maintenance design with a wide
range of available materials, making the WS Series
heavy duty slurry valve suitable for a wide range of
applications.

A unique maintenance minimizing design features sleeves easily replaced
without valve disassembly, and an adjustment free packingless upper seal.

Cast ductile iron handwheel
• New and replaceable upper seal design is not only

adjustment, it is also a self lubricating system and is
rechargeable without valve disassembly
