Customers are one of the vital points in any type of business, as they will be the ones that will
make the business alive. Enhancing the customer base of businesses is all about gaining more
devoted and engaged customers while figuring out how to make their interactions with your
company worthwhile. This is important in order to make double and increase further the circle of
customers being served.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF CUSTOMER BASE

LOYAL CUSTOMERS - are people who have continuously purchased your brand's goods and
services for more than a year, and they should represent a sizable chunk of your customer base.

RECURRING REVENUE - If your business focuses more on providing services, your devoted
consumers will generate recurring income through membership fees, subscriptions, or other paid
access to your platforms or services.

COMMON CUSTOMERS - the rest of your customer base is filled with common customers.
These are the remaining members of your client base who may not have made enough purchases
to qualify as loyal customers or who may have just made a single or occasional purchase.

DETERMINING THE CUSTOMER BASE

Look at the current client base - Find out how long your customers have been using your
services, and find out how much a retainer typically costs.

Consider their preferences - Look at the behaviors and habits of your loyal customers.

Identify their goals – Determine the goals of your clients and what do they want that the service
provided would help them get.
Identify their dislikes – by knowing the dislikes of the customers, this will allow to determine
what would draw them from patronizing your services provided.

Identify how they make their buying decisions – this determines on how a customer would
make a buying decision with the services that you provide. This may include parts of your
contents or samples, advertisements and maybe some demos that would persuade them to give it
a try. It can be used in order to make common customers to be part of your loyal customers.

INCREASING CUSTOMER BASE

Ask Them to Sign Up For Your Newsletter

A newsletter is a fantastic tool for spreading information to a large audience. If you can persuade
a regular customer to sign up for news notifications from your company, you can support them
on the road to loyalty by providing them with content offers and special benefits.

Increase Your Customer Base by Asking for Feedback

Customers rely on recommendations and the opinions of others when making decisions, which is
why reviews and recommendations are so crucial.

Keep Up and Maintain Excellent Customer Support and Service

A consumer is less likely to want to make another purchase from you or develop a lasting
relationship with you if they have a negative encounter with your support or service personnel.

Update Your Website Content to Stay Fresh

No one wants to be a loyal customer to a stale brand. You can persuade a buyer that your brand
