IV. Actualization (Realization from the demonstration teaching)

Roweline C. Calagos
▶In our topic I realized that as a future teacher I have to be aware of how to safeguard learners
to use of digital technologies and realizing that I must be careful specially in decision-making,
just like they said that " think before you click ". And also I realized that when we use electronic
technologies like cellphone, laptop, television and other digital technologies that I must be aware
in using those electronic technologies specially in social media that can give influence or
negative effects in me and even though there was a benefits in technology that can help to live
easily and to communicate others in a easy way through electronic/digitaltechnologies. Be aware
in log in in other and also be aware from activities such as scam; the lesson i learned that in using
digital technologies we must be careful not to be careless and also we must be aware of the safety
and follow the safety tips or role that had been discuss in our tpoic that can help us/me to become
safe and protect in any risks.

▶What I realized about the topic which is safety issues on the use of ICT including E-Safetty
Rules. Is that given the rises of cybercriminal activity in recent years. I realized that the need to
stay safe on the internet is very important because we might accidentally come across content
that makes us uncomfortable during or internet surfing, such a suicide, pornography Violence etc,
and I realized that the internet can be a dangerous place for anyone most particularly the children
and teenagers. So it is really important for us to know protect our devices and network from harn
by third parties and people should be vigilant and as well as learn through awareness, education
information and technology in this lesson I learned that there are many Potential online dangers
and the problem can start if don't look after your personal information properly. There are many
riskwe need to be aware of and some of this cyber bullying, invasion of privacy, children seeing
offensive images and messages. Identify Thier groomers by just looking at this potential dangers
on the internet.I realized that mostteenagers and children who spend a lot of time online on
theyoung people enjoy spending time on online but this also means that cyber bullying and other
online problems can be particularly hurtful and toxic for them.
