SCRIPT FOR TEACHER’S DAY PROGRAM
Marvie: The mediocre teacher tells;
Josef: the good teacher explains; Marvie: the superior teacher demonstrates; Josef: and the great teacher inspires. Marvie and Josef: Today is the day to thank them and say, Happy Teacher’s Day! Marvie: Good day ladies and gentlemen, our respected Principal-Teacher Ofel, all the loving teachers, and my dear schoolmates. Today, we are gathered here to celebrate this amazing day to honor the noblest profession in the world. Today we are here to celebrate the generous contribution of teachers to the society and mankind. Today on the special day of teachers, we will thank all the teachers in this school and the whole world. Josef: To begin our program, may I request everyone to stand for the opening prayer to be led by Kurt Hendrix Calacday-a Grade 5 pupil. And please remain standing for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem to be conducted by Justine Bert Binamira - a Grade 5 pupil. ------------ Marvie: Thank you. You may now be seated.The day that everyone desires has finally come.The day only for our beloved teachers. Josef : Our teachers are our best friends, mentors, philosopher and guide.Therefore, we want to say thank you to our teachers who always believed in us and provide the best knowledge to us. We will always be grateful of our teacher’s support in every situation and when we need it. Marvie: HAPPY TEACHER’S Day! The way you teach.The knowledge you share. The care you take.The love you shower.Make you…..The World’s best teacher! Josef: To formally welcome us all, may I now call on our dear Principal Teacher Ofel for her words of welcome. -------------- Thank you, Teacher Ofel! Now, let's have a surprise intermission number to be given to us by the PGO Officers. -------------- Thank you, guys. Marvie: With this, may I call on Teacher Ning for the presentation of SJVLCBI Teachers. To all the teachers please gather near the canteen. ---------------- Thank you, Teacher Ning and teachers. An intermission number will be given to us by Pre-Kinder Pupils. --------------- Wow! Thank you, babies! Josef: Let's have another surprise number from a Kindergarten Pupil. -------------- Marvie: Thank you for that wonderful performance! Josef: At this juncture, we will show our honor to our teachers by giving them flowers, cards, and messages that symbolize infinite respect and unconditional love for them. While giving the flowers and messages, we will be serenaded by Danielle Reign-a Grade 3 pupil. --------------- Marvie: I can really feel the love surrounding us today, Josef! Josef: Yes, I can feel that too. Indeed, our teachers are our second parents who deserve to be appreciated! Marvie: I definitely agree with that. Now, let us all be stunned by a special number that will be given to us by a Grade 3 pupil. -------------- Josef: Thank you for that wonderful performance! Marvie: Let's have a Grade 2 pupil for her spoken word poetry. Josef: Amazing! Our schoolmates are so talented! Marvie: Now, hold your breath for our beloved teachers will be showcasing their one of a kind performance. Josef : Let's cheer for our teachers! ------------- Marvie: Wow! We’re blown with the performance given to us by our teachers. Again, let’s all give a big big round of applause for our talented teachers. Josef: At this moment, let's have the Grade 5 pupils for their surprise song number. ------------- Marvie: Thank you Grade 5 pupils. Josef: Another intermission number will be given to us by the Grade 1 pupils. ------------ Marvie: Thank you barbies for that awesome dance number Josef: Now, let's welcome our GPTA President Ma'am Lina Fabellore Jucutan for her words of gratitude. ------------- Marvie: Thank you so much Ma'am for that warm message. Josef: This time, let us be entertained by the surprise dance number of selected PGO Officers. ------------ Marvie: Thank you guys. Josef: Before we end this program, please help me welcome Teacher Ning, for her closing remarks. A round of applause. ------------ Thank you, Teacher Ning! Marvie: May I now end this program with a quote that goes, “A teacher affects eternity, he can never tell where his influence stops”. Marvie and Josef: HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY!
