This document provides a lesson plan for teaching the past continuous tense to adult English learners over 60 minutes. It includes a warmup activity reviewing daily routines, a presentation of the grammar rule, a controlled practice activity filling in gaps with the past continuous form, and a freer production activity where students ask each other what they were doing at various times in the past. The goal is for students to learn and practice using the past continuous to talk about actions that were in progress at specific past times.
