ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2022-23

Anchor’s Script
Good Morning and a warm welcome to all the Teachers And Students
gathered here. I would like to welcome you to The Annual Sports Meet
2022-23 Of Our School.

A school sports day is a day when students are freed from their
classrooms to jump and run around, freed from the fetters of learning.
It is a day for Teachers to cheer on their Children.
It’s a day for victories and defeats, for successes and failures.

Moreover, Sports Day is a day for celebrating the spirit of


sportsmanship. So let’s begin the Annual Sports Day with lots of
enthusiasm, passion, and vigor.

First of all,
let's invoke the blessings of the almighty . Let me invite our school
choir for the prayer.
FLAG HOISTING
Let's start our Annual Sports Day with Flag Hoisting. I would like to
invite our Principal Preethi Mam to hoist the pride of our School, our
School Flag.

Band
The drumbeat rolls, the band strikes up and a high pitched voice issues
a command. Here we have Vishnuraj of class 8 leading the team.

DECLARATION OF SPORTS MEET OPEN:

Now I, request our Principal Preethi mam to declare the Annual


Sports Meet Open.

LIGHTING THE OLYMPIC TORCH:


Now, it's time to light the Olympic Flame which ignites the passion of
the sporting spirit. The flame represents the endeavor for protection
and the struggle for victory. The flame symbolizes 'the light of spirit,
knowledge, and life

I invite our Principal Preethi Mam to light the Olympic Torch and to
hand over it to........................

Now, last but not least, the torch is handed over to the Captain of
OATH
Now it's time to swear. The Olympic Oath is taken by our School Head
Boy Aditya Menon Sreevardhan to abide by the rules and regulations
to participate in the sports with a true spirit of sportsmanship.
