Critical Path - 1

The document describes a network of one-way roads between points A to Z, with junctions P, Q, R, S, and T. Vehicles travel along the lowest cost path from A to Z. 1) The total cost for the first 300 vehicles is Rs. 5400. 2) Junction R has the maximum traffic each day. 3) If the cost of road S-T is reduced by Rs. 5, 450 vehicles will pass through junction T each day.

Critical Path

Set 1:
900 vehicles travel each day from point A to Point Z on a network of one-way roads as
shown in the diagram below. Points P, Q, R, S and T are junctions in the network. The
number adjacent to the ray depicting each road stands for the cost (in Rs.) of travelling on
that road. Each vehicle takes the path of least cost from A to Z. If two or more paths have
the same cost, then the vehicles are equally distributed on those paths.
