The Math Kangaroo is an annual international math competition held in March for students in grades 1-12. The format of the exam

● Each pair of consecutive grades take the same test. (G1-G2, G3-G4, G5-G6,
G7-G8)

● There is a separate ranking for each grade level.


Math Kangaroo Scoring
● A student earns the points when he/she marks answers properly. There
are no points taken away for answering the question incorrectly.

● The students who earn the twenty highest scores are placed on National
Winners List ranked 1 to 20 - at each level nationwide.

● The students who earn the three highest scores in their state are placed
on State Winners List ranked 1, 2, 3 - at each level statewide.
