CONTRACT FOR SELF-EMPLOYED MUSIC TEACHER

1. DETAILS OF PARTIES
THIS AGREEMENT is made on 6th June, 2021 here between Tutti Music Therapy Ltd.
(hereinafter referred to as “the organisation”) and Alex Wesley Dann (hereinafter referred to
as “the teacher”)

2. NATURE OF WORK
The following work will be carried out by the music teacher on behalf of the organisation:

The work will be carried out by the named teacher appointed, who may not sub-contract
work to someone else without the agreement of the organisation.

3. TERMINATION
This contract will be terminated on or by four week’s prior written notice by either party,
unless it is agreed by mutual agreement to continue after that date.
This agreement shall terminate immediately in the event of failure on the part of either party
to observe any material obligation under this agreement.

4. FEES
The organisation will pay a fee of £15 per 30 minutes for music lessons. This fee is inclusive
of travel expenses.
Payments will be made in arrears within 30 days of receipt of invoices from the teacher.
Nothing in this clause shall affect the organisation's right to contest liability to make payment
in part or in full.

5. SICKNESS ABSENCE
If you are unable to attend work for any reason and your absence has not previously been
authorised by the organisation you must inform the Director of the fact of your absence and
the full reasons for it at least two hour before your normal start time on each working day of
absence until you have provided the organisation with a medical certificate.

7. PRINCIPLES
(i) The teacher will conduct her/himself in a proper, skilful and professional manner.
(ii) The teacher will not (except in the proper course of your duties hereunder) use or divulge
or communicate to any person any confidential information which belongs to the organisation
or any student or teacher.
(iii) The teacher will not offer lessons privately to the students at any other places without the
agreement of the organisation.
8. STATUS
(i) This agreement does not form the basis of an employment relationship between the
organisation and the teacher, and the teacher is responsible for paying their own tax and
National Insurance contributions, professional indemnity insurance and public liability
insurance.
(ii) The teacher is not an agent of the organisation and cannot create any obligations for it.

9. ALTERATION
This agreement can be changed only with the written consent of both sides.

10. GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION


This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the
parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
