Living in a city has both advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that it’s
easier to find a job, it’s easier to travel from one place to another by different means of
public transport, and it is much more interesting because there are a lot of things to do.
For example, you can eat in good restaurant, go shopping, visit museums and go to the
theatre. In general, city life is interesting and you are never bored. However, there are
also disadvantages. The disadvantages are that cities are noisy, the streets are busy
with traffic and they’re dirty. The air is polluted and the people are not always very
friendly. Also, living in a city is getting really expensive. Nowadays, young people prefer
living in a city to living in the countryside, mainly because there are more jobs and study
opportunities. Although, I’ve lived in a city for a long time, I always think living in the
countryside is better if you’d like a healthy life. So all in all, I think I prefer living in the
countryside.
