Description of shaver

Rechargeable and cord shaver: 12-240 V charging voltage without switchover

100 - 240 V line voltage operation, w/o selector switch.
Housing: Thermoplast
Shaving head and swivel frame: Thermoplast
Double shaving foil: Frame construction, "Sixtant"-geometry, Nickel,
Platinum-coated
Double Cutter block: Plastic, 27 cutter blades, 6 mm diameter
Long hair cutter: Integral part of slide (switch). Shaving head and long hair
cutter are working in opposite direction to each other.

General Information

Drive: 1.2 V direct current motor. Power transmission to shaving system by

eccentric drive.

Power supply: Supply by means of one built-in rechargeable battery or by direct mains
supply. A built-in electronic charger controls the supply automatically, inde-
pendently of the mains voltage or frequency. A green control lamp serves as
a visible sign of charging operation start by impulse-charging at 12 V.

Charging time: at 12V approx. 20 hours

from 100V on approx. 1 hour
from total discharged condition approx. 4 hours

After maximum charging capacity has been reached, the electronic device
switches back to a compensating trickle charge, which maintains capacity.
A special charging cable with fuse is available, for use with outlets in car or
boats. The most favorable ambient temperatures for shaver functioning is
between + 15 °C and + 35 °C. By no means the temperature should be
below 0 °C or above + 40 °C when charging the shaver.

Technical data

1. Amplitude measured at the cutter block: 2.6 - 3 mm

2. Revolution when run on rechargeable battery: minimum 6300 RPM without long hair-cutter
3. Current input when run on line-voltage (220V): 17 mA without long hair-cutter
4. Operating capacity after shaver has been
fully charged: approx. 35 shaving minutes

the drive unit by means of the reciprocal lever effect of the
screwdriver.

Head carrier supports Press the housing back (9) on a pad and take off the
(7 + 8) head carrier supports.

Attention! Prior to taking off the head carrier supports (7 + 8) the

drive unit (10) has to be removed!

to be snapped off upwards at the angle of the hinge
Return the LHT to it's original position in front of the
housing front part Then remove it from the
indentation, turning it 90° horizontally in front of
the housing. (The slider arm snaps out at the lead slot
of the LHT).

Re-assembly The re-assembly has to be made in reversed order.

Attention is to be paid to the following points:

Long hair trimmer Lift the slider by approx. 6 mm out of the

indentation of the housing cover, fixing it by
laying a match underneath. Insert LHT
horizontally in front of the housing cover
(cutting side to the right) with the slider lead
slot into the cranked sliding lever head. Then
the LHT is to be turned 90° (the cutting side.
now, faces downwards), to be placed in the

(7 & 8)

Motor connection Attention is to be paid to the correct polarity (The red

line is to be connected to the soldering tag marked
with a round symbol).

PCB (11) The spring contacts have to fit correctly in

relation to the plug socket.

Housing upper part (13) To be inserted exactly into the bottom (9) in the
eccentric area. The parts are held tightly. With the
other hand, the housing parts are to be pressed
together in the lower area.

Eccentric stud To be lubricated with a small amount of vaseline.

Swivel frame (6) To be inserted with the correct sides in head carrier
supports (7 + 8). The eccentric stud must grip exactly
